I am into watching TV and I do it whenever I have free time. Besides, comedies and reality
shows are my go-to choice for entertaining.

I often lie down on the sofa and enjoy some snacks while watching a movie, which helps
me let my hair down a lot. Moreover, I have a strange habit of surfing webs when TV is
on.

I prefer watching films with my friends to doing it alone. It would be more wonderful if I
can share my opinion about the movie with someone and listen to their feelings. Besides,
these moments make us closer.

This statement is absolutely true for some reason. First, watching TV too much appears to
increase the risk for heart disease and short-sightedness. Furthermore, children who are
immersed in TV screens tend to ignore their tasks and duties.

Dear Mr. David,
My name is Chan and I have been a member of Television club for six months.
I have heard the latest announcement about the upcoming plan of our club and I found it so
exciting.
I would like to suggest that we hold the conference at a coastal resort in Da Nang, where there
are enough rooms for our guests. Besides, the foreigners can visit some attractive destinations,
enjoy unique cuisine and explore the culture of Viet Nam. Furthermore, we can make use of the
beach behind the resort to organize many outdoor activities like in a reality show, which can help
members coming from different countries break the ice and bring them closer.
Those are my thoughts and some recommendations for our club, please take them into
consideration. I am looking forward to hearing from you at your nearest convenience.

I am a couch potato and I watch TV every night. Besides, I prefer enjoying a movie at home to
doing it in a cinema.

A. I am into making films but my skill is not good enough to do it on my own. Therefore, I
would like to join the club to work with members who share the same interest and
improve my skill.
B. I recommend that we make a cartoon about traditional games for kids, which could
encourage them to go outside and take part in many interesting games with their friends
rather than attaching themselves to smartphones and becoming less active.
C. With modern technology, we have drastically changed our ways of watching films. In the
future, we can have more high-standard movies such as 5D,6D ones to see and don’t have
to go outside for films thanks to the Internet.
