Introduction
Issue Tracking System is a tracking system that can be used to track software and other issues for
various software projects and working environment. It is web-based and easy to use system.

Objectives
 To login to Amhara bank (AMHB) issue tracking system
 To create projects and subprojects
 To create/add/delete Users (manage users)
 To report issues
 To assign issues

Features of the system


 Email notifications: It sends out emails of updates, comments, resolutions to the
concerned stakeholders.
 Access Control: You can control user access at a project level
 Customize: It can be easily customized as per users requirements.
 Mobile Support: it supports iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone Platforms.

Steps to login to Amhara bank (AMHB) issue tracking system:

1. Open any browser, type the following URL: 192.168.100.59/mnt/ and hit enter.

2. Type your user name in the given field shown below and click on login button.

3. Type your password in the given field shown below and click on login button

After successful login, you will see a window similar to the screen shoot below.

Creating project
Manage>Manage Projects

4. Fill project properties in the given fields shown below (Project name, Status, view status,
Description), then click on Add project.

Creating subproject
1. Click on Manage menu Manage>Manage Projects>Documentation
2. Select Manage projects
3. Select Parent project (example Documentation)

4. Click on Create New Subproject

5. Fill project properties in the given fields shown below (Project name, Status, view status,
Description), then click on Add project.

(Manage -> Manage User -> Create New Account)

Report an issue
Following are the steps to report an issue.

1. If the user has access to multiple projects, first select the project at the top right
corner of the screen, where issues will be reported.

There are two ways to go on Report Issues form.

i. Click the Report Issue link present at the top beside the project filter
ii. Click the Report Issue section from the left menu bar.

The following screenshot shows how to set a project filter and available options for Report
Issues. i 1

2. Enter all the details properly. These are the following fields.
i. Category: It defines under which area of project it belongs such as
development, database, and services so that the concerned team can start
looking into it.
ii. Summary: A brief title of the issue that provides high level info about the
issue.
iii. Description: The detailed information of the issue. It should contain all
relevant details minor to major, so the concerned team member analyzes all
the aspects.

3. If the user wants to report more than one issue, check the Report Stay checkbox,
which will return to the report issue page after the submission of an issue.
4. Now, click the Submit Issue button present at the bottom of the page.

For importing issues

Importing Issues
Rules: CSV file should be saved as CSV (Comma Delimited/Comma separated).
a. Use the above steps for steps 1 to 3.
b.Click on icon to attach files. Explore to where you saved csv file and
select the file.
c. Click the Submit Issue button present at the bottom of the page.

Viewing Reported Issues


After successful completion of the issue, the can see the report by following the below steps

1. Click view issues menu


2. All the issues will be displayed
3. Issue related Terminologies
a. Assigned to me (Unresolved): Indicates that the issue is assigned to currently
logged user by others but not resolved yet.
b. Unassigned: means the issue is created but not assigned to any user.
c. Reported by Me: shows the issue reported by currently logged user.
d. Resolved: shows issues get resolved.
e. Recently Modified (30 Days): shows recent issue activities
