1. Explain why you need to learn handicraft?

(10points)

Learning a handicraft is important because it fosters the development of desirable


personality traits like creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation. This is due to the fact that
whenever I work on a craft project, I am presented with a plain and everyday object and am
forced to come up with creative ideas for how to turn it into something extraordinary and useful,
or even something that is worthy of display. Additionally, handicraft is a wonderful way to
showcase one's cultural heritage by allowing one to use the local materials that are readily
available and transform them into a work of art.

2. Create at least two handicraft projects of your choice using indigenous or recyclable
materials. (20points)

Materials:
1. Bamboo
2. Varnish

Procedure:
1. Prepare the necessary supplies.
2. Chop off a piece of bamboo, preferably the one that has
a few tiny twigs clinging to it so there would be an
ornamental component addition to it.
3.The bamboo vase should then be painted with a
varnish to give it a glossy finish and to emphasize
the materials' organic color.

Materials:
1. Bamboo
2. Varnish
3. Saw

Procedure:
1. Prepare the necessary supplies.
2. Cut bamboo into pieces.
3. Create a hole in the bamboo so that the money may
be placed inside.
4. The bamboo bank should then be varnished.
