- An act of charity, mercy, and kindness with a strong
connotation of doing good to others including moral
obligation.
Justice and Equity

- The recognition of a person as a autonomous,
unique, and free individual. It also means that we
recognize that each person has the right and capacity to
make her or his own decisions.
Accountability and Transparency
-To take responsibility for one's actions,
decisions and their consequences.
Confidentiality
- ensures that secret information is
protected from unauthorized disclosure.

-Freedom to make your own decision without external
influence.

Confidentiality
refers to the obligation of professionals who have
access to patient records or other information, to hold
that information in confidence.
