PART 1

MEETING PLACE
1. Where is your favorite place to meet with your friend?
In my living room for sure. I have a nice big couch and many fluffy pillows. A variety of drinks
are available, and we can feel free to make ourselves as comfortable as we could.

2. Do you think there are some places more suitable for meeting with others?
Absolutely. But it depends.
I mean, for those who are very sensitive, as I mentioned, public places are more suitable. But for
those who are very gregarious and extroverted, actually they don’t care where to meet.
I mean the location doesn’t matter that much to them.
3. Are there any differences between your favorite meeting places better than others?
No differences. I’ve always asked my best friends to come to my home to hang out. It’s the best
place because we can make ourselves as comfortable as we can.

4. Why are some meeting places better than others?

Well, I think it’s totally personal feelings. Some people would prefer open areas whereas others
value privacy. So, different people may have different preferences in terms of the meeting place.

COLLECTING THINGS

1. Do you collect things?

No, now I don’t collect anything, because I am not very into any particular things. But when I
was a kid, I used to collect stamps, because at that time, collecting stamps was the thing, so I
was jumping on a bandwagon but later I did not find it interesting anymore

2. Are there any things you keep from childhood?

I am afraid no, keeping something from childhood is just impossible for me, because I am not
very organized, so basically, I am always losing my things or just forgetting where they are,
so how can you expect a man like me’to keep something from childhood?

3. Where do you usually keep things you need?

There is no particular place, I mean I just find a spot to see whether there is enough space to
keep things I need. I do admit my house looks messy and disordered, but for me, it is total OK
as long as I can find what I want whenever necessary.

4. What kinds of thing do people often like collecting?

I suppose all sorts, but most common ones are stamps, coins, pens and suchlike. But there is a
very popular one among young generation – sneaker. You can always hear them talking about
things like air jordan, yeezy, all shapes and sizes. they are crazy about the shoes, like the Lovers
even are willing to wait outside the flagship store for up to ten hours, just hoping to get the newly
released one.
5. Why do you think people collect certain objects?
It varies from person to person, some collectors do it because they want to make money, they
may look for, say, antiques that they can buy cheaply and expect to sell them at a profit. Other
people may do it for fun, like my friends has been collecting coins for many years, I suppose he
can get a strong sense of personal fulfilment from doing so.

PART 2

Describe something healthy you enjoy doing

( Describe an activity you like doing to keep healthy)

You should say:

1. What the activity is

2. When you do it
3. How often you do it
4. And explain why it is a good way to look after your health

I would like to share with you something that I am keen on doing in my leisure time to stay
healthy, which is jogging.

I took up this habit about 2 years ago. At that time, I was up to my ears with study to prepare
for my graduation examination so I was a little bit stressed out. Then I thought that I needed to
do something energetic to release some stress, so I decided to have a crack at jogging.

At first, doing this was quite challenging for me because I led a sedentary lifestyle. I just sat in
front of my computer every day to complete my assignments. But after a few days of suffering
from muscle aches, I got used to jogging and kept doing it in the evenings.

Well, I have to say that this sport has helped me a lot in strengthening my physical health as well
as my mental health. Thanks to jogging, I was able to lose my fat belly and get lean. Now, to be
honest, I’m quite satisfied with my youthful appearance and trying to maintain it. Also, jogging
allows me to unwind and enjoy fresh air, and whenever I go jogging I feel like my mind is being
refreshed.

In the future, I am going to keep doing this to stay healthy and maybe I will try some other sports
too. That’s all!

4. sedentary lifestyle: spend a lot of time sitting down

PART 3

1. Do you think people pay enough attention to their health today?

No, I don’t think so. Nowadays, most people are leading a sedentary lifestyle where they don’t
have enough time to look after themselves. They don’t pay attention to their diet and hardly
workout. But there are a few self-conscious people who are aware of their health and prefer
eating a healthy diet and doing some physical activities in their life to ensure they’re healthy.

2. What costs are involved when you are ill in your country?

In my country, the costs depend upon the kind of hospitals we prefer. There are government
hospitals that are less expensive than private hospitals. In private hospitals, we have to pay a
fortune to get our treatment done. However, it is up to us to choose the hospitals wisely.

3. Do you think most people worry more about their health as they get older?

Of course! In my opinion, once a person hits the 40s, they’re more likely to get signs of diseases
and conditions like blood pressure, heart attack etc. So they become health-conscious and take
precautionary measures.

4. How can people be encouraged to stay healthy?

One of the best ways a person can be encouraged to stay healthy is by talking to them about the
health benefits. They can even promote health benefits through advertisements. People will get
motivated and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

5. What are the most popular ways of keeping healthy in your country?

There are many ways to stay healthy and in my country, a majority of the youngsters prefer
working out in gym and fitness center, while the middle-aged men and women prefer doing
yoga, pilates, squats, and other exercises, and the old people prefer walking or jogging in the
early morning to remain healthy.
