YOUR REFLECTIONS

Learners with disabilities refer to a physical or mental condition that limits a person’s movement,
senses, or activities, students with giftedness and talents are learners with high achievement capability in
such areas as intellectual, creative, artistic, or leadership capacity in a specific field. Children with
disabilities need more attention for they are the learners not be taken for granted. Since they have a
different way of learning styles, the teachers need to strategize based on their ability and capacity of
learning. To keep students with disabilities on track, the activities to be given should be suited in a way
that can catch their attention, for them to focus on answering the given task. The teacher needs to
observe the behavior of the students so that as an educator we can easily provide learning materials that
are best and suited for their mode of learning. As to students with high intellect we can give them tasks
that will motivate and enhance their leadership by giving them a duty to help those learners with
disabilities to perform the activity. In this way, there is a good interaction among all students with different
learning abilities.

talented and gifted students can perform according to the understanding of the competency and help
