1. Definition
Difinition of suggestion is an idea someone proposes. Someone can accept or reject a
suggestion. It's about what someone should do or how someone should behave.
2. Sosial Funcition
Sosial function of suggestion is to give advice, input, or ideas to someone so that
someone who given suggestion can choose a good choise
3. Expression of asking suggestion
Expression of asking suggestion
- If you were me, what would you do? 
- Can you tell me what I should do? 
- Would you mind giving me your suggestion? 
- Can you give me some recommendations about…? 
4. Expression of giving suggestion
- You had better to stay at home than go out side
- You should do best thing for your better future.
- You need/ought to refresh your mind after joining the hard test.
- You ought to go to cinema than shopping center.
- I think you should buy the text book to help your online learning

5. Respons Accepting/ refusing suggestion

Example of accepting suggestions:

Example of refusing suggestions:
- Sorry, I can't ….
- I'm afraid I'm not available on that day.
- I'm afraid I can't.
- I'd rather doing something else, please.

Accepting Suggestion: Yes, let's go.
Declining Suggestion: No, thank you. I do not feel like going

Accepting Suggestion: Ok, if you say so.
Declining Suggestion : Sorry I cant. I have previous engagement.
c. Suggestion: Why don't before going out? you do your homework
Accepting Suggestion: Ok, I will.
Declining Suggestion: Sorry, I think I will go out first and then do my homework.
