Provide at least five (5) social injustices which are currently happening in our country and
provide your solutions to be able to solve them.

1. Poverty
Mendicancy is ingrained in the culture, as is an over-reliance on government assistance.
However, because large enterprises are controlled by a few people, prospects are limited
or non-existent. The oligarchs are suffocating free trade. The Philippine government's
AmBisyon 2040 initiative aims to eliminate extreme poverty by 2040. Furthermore, the
government has adopted a number of programs and reforms aimed at reducing poverty,
particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and the economy as a whole.

2. Insurgency
The communist relics are attempting to make a statement by causing a headache for the
government. A significant impediment to provincial growth and the development of other
rural communities. To solve this Mindanao should be the focus of government resources.
Improve the area's infrastructure. Start a huge educational program for Mindanao's
indigenous people. Create government-funded health centers throughout Mindanao. In
terms of employment, there is no discrimination. Reduce corruption and boost the Bureau
of Internal Revenue's portion in revenue collection. Create an information center where
Mindanao residents can voice their issues directly to the authorities. Appoint a Mindanao
native to tackle Mindanao issues.

3. Crab and Colonial Mentality

Following World War II, the Japanese developed their own products, which they are
proud of. Japan's products were looked upon at the time because of their perceived low
quality. Who, on the other hand, is now giggling? We still believe that good products
come from the United States or other Atlantic or European countries. Only to learn that it
was made or manufactured in Taiwan or China. Our domestic brands make us chuckle,
but they are adored by outsiders. To solve this, recognize that you're demonstrating a crab
mentality, or that you're about to do so, as the first step toward avoiding it. Once you've
recognized that you have a crab mentality, you should work to address the underlying
issues that are causing you to exhibit it. You can also strive to promote good thought
patterns that will assist you to avoid this mentality. However, in other circumstances,
changing your thinking may not be possible, therefore you should instead concentrate on
changing your behavior.
4. Overzealous “Pinoy Pride”
Let's not kid ourselves: our presumption that Filipinos are experts in all fields is one of
the most ridiculous stereotypes that we should abandon. We're pretty much the same as
the rest of the world. There are excellent Filipinos not because they are Filipino, but
because of their hard work and discipline. The solution is simple: people can celebrate
their nation by shopping locally, supporting local artists, and passing on Filipino values.
The expression of ethnic and cultural dignity is not a crime; in fact, Filipinos should
exemplify genuine pride – everyone should. There's no reason to put off valuing Filipino
identity until it arrives with a foreign stamp - that's how we got colonized in the first
place! There's nothing wrong with rejoicing over a kababayan's victory, but there's no
need to amplify every token of admiration and flaunt it as proof of racial supremacy. It's
not about ignoring cultural strengths; rather, it's about accepting them, along with their
flaws, and letting them speak for themselves.

5. Covid-19
The Philippines has one of the highest recorded numbers of confirmed Covid-19 cases in
Southeast Asia. The government's response to the pandemic has resulted in serious
human rights abuses. Abuses include putting curfew violators in dog cages and exposing
them to the sun as punishment. Sharing of knowledge (solutions, insights, policies, etc.)
is now more crucial than ever as a once-in-a-lifetime event. (1) This is the first time that
all countries, cities, and communities have banded together for a common cause. (2) Now
is Transversal: This is a battle that cuts across all industries and services. (3) Now is the
time to act: We are in the midst of an unprecedented battle that requires us to act fast and
effectively. (4) Now is the same for everyone: For the first time, we can learn and imitate
solutions from anywhere in the world.
