1. How does effective communication contribute to the success of any business?

 Effective communication is one of the keys behind the success of every business owners and
businesses. It was a tool to keep the business going , from planning the products, hiring and
motivating the employees to manufacturing , delivering and marketing the goods to the
customers. Without a proper or effective communication , there will no good transactions or
negotiations within businesses.
2. What activities can you suggest that will develop effective communication skills for both the
employer and the employees?
 I think active listening and maintaining a good communication between employees and
employer . By doing so, an employer must create an activities that can be beneficial for both
sides , like team building that encourages everyone to show their skills in communicating or
maybe an orientation with motivational approach, in that sense employers would have the
opportunity to show that they care for their employees and employees can show their respect
towards the employer. Second is open forum in which employees can gather to find out about a
specific issue, reach resolutions or interact with members of their communities through genuine
open dialogue. In this kind of activity , representatives are present to answer questions and
provide information which people may find valuable or useful.
3. What will happen to the company if the administrators don’t know how to properly
communicate well to their subordinates?
 Improper communication frequently creates a tense environment in which people are
unmotivated to work and uninspired to collaborate. This lack of motivation then has a negative
impact on how administrator interact with subordinates or employees with their clients and
potential customers, lowering the bottom line.
4. What are the three basic function of organizational communication? Explain each function
To inform- Keeping everyone (administrators, subordinates, investors and employees informed
about the business or tasks. Good communication starts with sharing information . Giving your
employees the big picture and helping them to understand when something isn't working will
help them to feel more satisfied in their work and to continue improving
To persuade - Persuasion skills are a valuable asset for employees in any industry. The ability to
persuade others, present persuasive arguments, and persuade others to act is a valuable asset
that can be useful in a variety of workplaces.
To promote goodwill – to promote goodwill leads to a successful business in the future.
Working together with your coworkers is just one way to promote goodwill Collaboration entails
collaborating with others and working toward a common goal or achievement.
