“4 KENTECH Conflict of Interest Guidelines for Candidates Please read this guidance document prior to completing the Conflict of Interest Declaration Form. Disclosure Requirement -Candidate Candidates applying for positions via Kentech website may be asked to voluntarily complete a COI form. Candidates not using Kentech website to apply for positions, will be asked to voluntarily complete a CO! form. Candidates who decline to complete the CO! form will be reminded that, should they become an employee, they will be required to disclose any CO! they may have pursuant to the Code. Disclosure Accuracy and Changes to Previous Disclosures Candidates must provide a complete and accurate description of the situation and provide any ‘additional information that may be requested, Additionally, if there is a change to a previously disclosed COl, Candidates must immediately provide an update by completing a new CO! form. Conflict of interest Defini ns, Conflicts of interest or the appearance of conflicts of interest must be avoided. A conflict of interest, arises when an employee's opportunity for personal gain could interfere with his/her judgement, objectivity or loyalty to Kentech. The following instances constitute a conflict of interest and will need to be disclosed through the COI Disclosure Form: + Close relatives reporting into one another or close relatives working in the same dopartment. + Serving on a Board of Directors. + Taking a second job working for a customer, competitor of a supplier while also employed at Kentech. + Close relatives of employees in the Human Resources, Procurement or Finance Departments working for Kentech. ‘+ Obtaining personal gain for self or family member by abusing position within Kentech or accessing Kentech information. + Engaging the services of a subcontractor whom you have a close outside relationship ‘+ Ifyou accept a gift from a supplier in exchange for business over other suppliers The above is a non-exhaustive list of potential conflict of interests. if in doubt, please speak with a member of the recruitment team or hiting manager. vo
