• Worked with Stockton Professor Dr. Matthew Olson and two other students on a semester long independent study.
• Collected multiple different types of forestry data to complete an assessment of fire interval and pine woodland
canopy plots on Stockton University’s campus in the New Jersey Pinelands.
• Utilized forestry equipment including diameter measurement tape, ocular, Biltmore/scale stick, caliper, prisms, angle
gauges, and rangefinder/hypsometer.
• Effectively collaborated and communicated with teammates to meet up consistently over the course of the semester
to collect forest plot data and assess changes to the forest.
• Analyzed several forest factors including fuel vegetation, leaf litter depth, down deadwood, tree species, tree mortality,
and seed regeneration after a prescribed fire.
