Tree Replanting at Round Valley Recreation Area Mar 2023
Watershed Ambassador
Coordinated the relocation of 100 pitch pine seedlings from submerged areas along the
reservoir coast to an outdoor classroom in collaboration with Round Valley Recreation
Area. Supervised a team of 35 volunteers, facilitated logistics, and provided necessary
tools and refreshments.
Biological Assessment Lesson Nov 2022
Watershed Ambassador
Conducted 45-minute lessons on biological stream assessments and macroinvertebrate
sorting techniques for eight classes at Somerville High School. Led students in
conducting a hands-on biological assessment of the Raritan River at Duke Island Park.
Deer Exclosure Project 2018 – 2019
Summer Sustainability Intern
Managed a campus deer exclosure to improve the health of a tributary of the North
Branch Raritan River. Identified and eradicated invasive species via iNaturalist app and
contracted mowing services. Orchestrated planting of native flora and trees with a
