• Assisted in the certification of a previously closed landfill to be built on by private corporations
• Investigated and designed methane degassing systems to meet local regulations
• Oversaw construction and development of landfills in local counties
• Formulated proposals to be offered to clients that addressed the designs to be constructed and
regulations that SCS will achieve
Texas A&M University College Station, Texas June – July 2019
Student – REEU (Research Experience Extension for Undergraduates) Internship
• Researched the feasibility of reusing waste water for drinking water and determining which
technologies performed best under realistic conditions
• Collaborated with a team of seven other students to collect data and formulate conclusions based
on data collected from the field
• Critically analyzed results from several different tests collected daily
• Presented and taught on the findings of the research at a state-wide conference
Mozambique Internship Muccune, Mozambique May - June 2018
Student – International Mission Board
● Lived in the Bush of Mozambique while learning the culture of the Alomwe people
● Taught the Alomwe people perfected techniques of water filtration and the importance of clean
water
● Introduced to practical electrical circuits installation in a hand-built, sustainable house

The Oaks Retreat August 2019 – August 2020

• Oversaw and maintained the vision of the retreat for counselors and leadership for a 500-person
retreat during the COVID-19 pandemic
• Interviewed over 250 applicants to be counselors at the retreat for incoming freshmen
• Integrated hundreds of freshmen with intentional relationships with upperclassmen
