1. Some, any, no, none, too, much, many, a lot, lots of, a lot of, few,
a few, several, enough, little, a little.
2. We use quantifiers when we want to give someone information
about the number of something: how much or how many. Sometimes
we use a quantifier in the place of a determiner.
3. Any” can be singular or plural when you use it as a pronoun,
depending on whether it refers to a countable noun or an
uncountable noun
4. We use no directly before nouns, none is the pronoun form of no.
None means ‘not one’ or ‘not any’. We use it as a pronoun to replace
countable and uncountable nouns. We use it as subject or object
5. We use a lot of and lots of in informal styles. Lots of is more
informal than a lot of. A lot of and lots of can both be used with
plural countable nouns and with singular uncountable nouns for
affirmatives, negatives, and questions.
6. We use too meaning ‘more than enough’ in different positions.
7. Enough is a determiner, a pronoun or an adverb. We use enough
to mean ‘as much as we need or want’.
8. We use much with singular uncountable nouns and many with
plural nouns
9. Little refers to non-countable nouns, and is used with the
singular form to indicate that something exists only in a small
amount or to a slight degree. Few refers to countable nouns, and is
used with the plural form to indicate not many persons or things.
10. (A) little and (a) few are quantifiers meaning ‘some’. Little and
few have negative meanings. We use them to mean ‘not as much as
may be expected or wished for’.

existence or presence of someone or something
