I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, 75% of the students must be able to:
1. Identify the rules of Subject – Verb Agreement;
2. Construct their own sentences using correct Subject – Verb Agreement.

Last time we tackled about the 7 out of 14
rules of subject verb agreement. Who can
recall some of those?

QUIZ BEE: Wave Your Group
Now, let’s have a game. Go to your group
area. Choose a name for your group. Listen to
the mechanics,
Mechanics: I will say the sentence and you’re
going to identify which of the verb is correct.
Once you know the answer, the group will
shout their group name and the first one to say
it will answer the question. If their answer is
wrong, the other groups may steal. The
question is 1 point each and the group that got
the highest points will be the winner. The 1st
placer will get 20 points, the 2nd will get 15
points, the 3 will get 13 points and the last
will get 10 points. Is that clear?
