I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of 1 hour, the Grade 10 students should be able to:
1) unlock the unfamiliar words found in the selection through an activity;
2) generate ideas based on their experiences on bringing someone to the
reality or letting that someone stay in his/her reality;
3) identify the moral lesson of the selection and;
4) appreciate the importance of the selection – “The Adventure of Don
Quixote” by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra through poem writing.

Introduction of the Author
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was a
Spanish writer who is widely regarded
as a greatest writer in the Spanish
language and one of the world’s pre-
eminent novelists. His novel “Don
Quixote” has been translated into over
140 languages and dialects. It is after
the Bible, the most translated book in
the world.
