Q1. Look at the ads carefully and identify the appeal of the ads from 3Cs of Advertising and
highlight and explain briefly the literary devices used in the ads.

This ad is catch your attention. They catch attention through their copywriting (hike) and with their
beautiful visual.
This ad is denotation because it gives a very clear and direct message that our shoes are really good
for hiking fasting. They wrote in copy about it and show with visual.
This ad is convince to take action. They way girl eat chocolate it’s easily persuade anyone to buy a
chocolate and eat it because the chocolate is too much delicious, visual show that.
They add you attitude factor in this ad because it’s talk about their customers and involving them
with their copywriting question.

This ad is catch your attention. They catch attention through their beautiful visual ad and out of box
idea.
This ad is metaphor. They used alternative of car accident as a violence of human. The message of
this ad is if you drive when you drunk you are doing violence to others.
This ad is connect your emotion. They show us if you don’t ask it will hurt and speak up for your
life.
This ad is emotional appeal. This ad is emotional because they tell us with emotion think about your
health and your safety, this ad encouraging young workers to speak up at work before it’s too late.
The organization is concerned that many young people are too embarrassed to ask questions about
equipment, often with terrible results.
This ad convinces to take action. This ad convinces through their visual and copy. They show that if
you want to be a gentlemen they behave like a gentlemen and take off your hat when meet lady, so if
you buy a car without hat then you’re gentlemen and ladies look to you back.
This ad is connotation and denotation.
The denotation (direct message) of this ad is if you have a beautiful car with hat you will attract
ladies easily through their visual.
The connotation of this ad copy of this ad if you want to be gentlemen so take off a hat for meeting
with lady because this car have no roof so this car is legendary thing for meeting lady and for be a
gentleman.

This ad is connect to your emotion. They create fear emotion like if you speed up your car speed
more than 40mph then you will die for sure.
This ad is analogy because they compare real face with skull and life or death in one picture. In this
ad they give message if you drive 40mph you have 70% chance to die so drive 30mph then 80%
chance to live.
Q2. Identify all the Elements of Advertising you can detect in the given ads also briefly comment
if they fulfill the role well.

The heading of this ad is you perfect. In this ad you is feel like they are direct connected to
customers and care about them.
The sub-heading of this ad is 24-hour lasting makeup. They promise in this our makeup is 24 hour
lasting for all type of skin.
And in body copy they give information about their product.
The tagline of this ad they used as a heading.

They add call of action in the end of the poster with a dark color.

So they fulfil the role of element of advertisement is very well. They give proper heading where they
show customers matter and then in their sub-heading they give information about product and give
beautiful tagline is you perfect and clearly give call of action so they justify the role of element of
advertisement.
The heading of this ad is like they have something new for experience. They give unexpected thing.
In heading they boast benefits of new car also ad magic word you is for realizing that customers are
really important.
Then in sub-heading they talk about product and price. They add one sub-heading in the middle of
the page with body copy where they give information about their product and they add too many sub-
heading one is on top and another one is in end of page.

simple everyone can understand easily.

I don’t think they work well in this ad in element of advertisement because they add too much sub-
heading and also too much copy and they don’t care about rule of designing and placement of thing
etc. so this is not justified the elements of advertisement.
