LOVING GOD THROUGH GIVING

You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving.
1.) Christian Love Giving is likened to as Planting Seeds in God’s Field.
God has placed a built in multiplier in the soil.
A little seed planted in the good soil and well-tended will produce exponential harvest much greater than
the original seed.

2. Christian Love Giving is likened as Drawing water out from a well or a spring.
The more you draw water from a well or a spring the cleaner, the fresher, the stronger & usable the water
becomes
 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says
the Lord almighty , “ and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much
blessing that you will not have enough room for it. I will prevent pest from devouring … then all
nations will call you blessed and yours will be a delightsome land. Malacai 3:10-12

GOD’S GIFTS
As Christians therefore:
 Let us love God by cheerfully giving for the ministry;
 Let us grow in God’s love by trusting Him and working to increase our blessings so that our love giving
for His work increases as well;
 Let us love God by committing ourselves to faithfully and carefully administer the gifts He gives to
disciple all nations for His glory.
Let us do God’s work with the Abundance of His blessings

 1. CHEERFUL GIVING IS A PRE-REQUISITE TO BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS.
He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall also reap

2. BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS IS PROMISED BY THE LORD OF THE HARVEST.

A. Material blessings increase and the capacity to give increases as well (v 10)
2CO 9:10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your
store of seed
B. Spiritual blessings increase v 10… will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness
D. Thankfulness increase (v 11, 12) your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. also overflowing in many
expressions of thanks to God
