Itis advised that applications for promotion to Master Teacher shall be evaluated using the herein means of verification, Anent to this, there shall be an orientation of all Public Schools District Supervisors and Secondary Schools Cluster Heads on August 19, 2019, 9:00 in the morning at T. Therefore, In the ranking and appointment of Master Teacher positions, the guidelines stipulated in MEC Order No. 10, s. 1979 (“implementing Rules and Regulations for the System of Career Progression for Public School Teachers”) and _DECS Order No. 57, s. 1997 (“Further Implementation of the Career Progression ‘System for Master Teachers”) shall be strictly followed effective immediately. (20 pts for any one of the item) Curriculum or instructional materials Means of Verification (MOVs) 1.1 Arecommendation from the division/district/cluster a committee who evaluated the instructional material as competency, technology, and research based; 1.2 An approved certification issued by the SOS that the developed material is competency, technology, and research based; and its objective is aligned with the goal of the latest curriculum; 1.3. Adivision/district/ cluster memorandum/circular/bulletin enjoining other teachers to Use the developed instructional material; 1.4 Acopy/picture of the material duly accompanied by a brief description on how to Use/manipulate the said instructional material; and 1.5. A summary report indicating the significant effects of the said innovation in the performance of the learners duly certified by the SH/PSDS are true and correct. 2. Effective teaching techniques or strategies Means of Verification (MOVs) 2.1 Abrief description of the technique/strategy; 2.2 Acertification corroborated by at least five (5) teachers that the strategy is original and utilized by the teachers; 2.3 Acertification issued by the SH/PSDS that the technique/strategy is research and technology based. ORIGINALLY developed by the applicant and is currently used by the teachers at least at the school level; and 2.4 A quantitative analysis of the positive effect of the techniques/strategy that yields 2 significant positive effect on the performance of the learners. 3. Simplification of works as in reporting system, record keeping, etc., or procedures that resulted in cost reduction ‘Means of Verification (MOVs) ( MOV 3 and 4 will suffice MOV 1 and 2) 3.1 Aproject design duly approved by the SDS; 3.2 Apermit/letter from the SDS to implement the project design in school; 3.3. Abrief description of the technology based innovation that simplifies the work; and 3.4 certification signed by the SDS that the work plan is originally developed by the applicant and it has been tried out, was found effective, and has resulted in cost reduction. 4. Aworthwhile income generating project for pupils given recognition by higher officials in the Division Office Means of Verification (MOVs) 4.1 A project design with matrix of activities signed by the SDS to conduct an income Generating Project (IGP) in the school for at least one (1) year; 4.2 Acettification signed by the SH/PSDS that the IGP is done after official time and. without cost to the government; 43 Ashort description of the Income Generating Project (IGP); 4.4 A certification signed by the SH/PSDS as the proponent of the IGP; 45 Accomplishment/narrative report with pictures; 4.6 AFinancial Statement signed by the School Head; and 4.7 Acettificate of recognition signed by the SDS recognizing the IGP of the teacher. B. Served as a subject coordinator or a grade chairman for at least one (1) year; o as adviser of school publication or any special school organization like drama club, glee club, science club, etc., and discharged such assignment satisfactorily for at least two (2) years provided such assignments or services are in addition to, and not considered part of the regular teaching load. (12 pts) Means of Verification (MOVs) B.1, Memorandum/Designation/Assignment letter as a subject coordinator or as an adviser of the club issued by the immediate supervisor; B.2. An approved matrix of activities signed by the SH/PSDS as a subject coordinator for one (2) year or as a club adviser for two (2) years; and B.3. Accomplishment/Narrative reports with pictures. ._ Served as chairman of a special committee, such as a curriculum study committee, committee to prepare instructional materials; committee to prepare school program; and discharged the work efficiently. (12 pts) ‘Means of Verification (MOVs) C.1, Memorandum/Designation/Assignment letter as chair of the committee issued by immediate supervisor; C.2. Approved matrix of activities signed by the SH/PSDS as a chairman of a committee; C3. A brief description of the work done as chairman of the committee; and C.4. A certification issued by the SH/PSDS that the chairman discharged the work efficiently. D. Initiated or headed an educational research activity duly approved by educational authorities, either for improvement of instruction, for community development, or teacher welfare. (12 ts) For participation as a member of such activity. (7 pts) Means of Verification (MOVs) (MOV's 2,3 and 4 will suffice) D.1. Acopy of the research proposal duly approved by the SDS; D.2. Acertification duly signed by the SH/PSDS that the teacher actually conducted the study as chairman or as a member; D.3. A copy of the study conducted; and D.4. A certification signed by the SH/PSDS that the findings of the study were utilized at the school level. E. Coordinator of a community project or activity or of a program of another agency or coordinator of rural service improvement activity in a community such as feeding nutrition, agro-Industrial fairs, etc. for at least two (2) years. (12 points)For participation as a member of such activity. (7 pts) Means of Verification (MOVs) E.1. Anotarized Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the teacher who will serve as chairperson or member and the Barangay Captain for 2 years; E.2. A Project Design and a matrix of activities approved by the barangay captain and duly noted by the SH for two (2) years; E.3. List of attendees/participants (with signatures) during the activity; and E.4. An accomplishment/narrative report with pictures. F. Organized / managed a three (3) day in-service training / activity or other similar activities at least at the schoo! level based on the need of the teachers. (12 points) Means of Verification (MOVs) F.1. A copy of the Teacher Need Assessment (TNA) result duly signed by the SH/PSDS; F.2. Approved project design and matrix of activities signed by the SDS; F.3. A Certificate of Recognition signed by the Principal and SDS; F.4. List of participants with their signatures; and F.5. An accomplishment report (narrative and pictorial) G. Credited with meritorious achievements such as: (1) Trainer of or coach to contestants who receive prizes, commendations or any form of recognition National winner 10 pts Regional winner 5 pts Division winner 3 pts District/cluster winner = 1 pt ‘Means of Verification (MOVs) as trainer/coach G.1.1. Amemorandum indicating the name of the teacher as coach; G.1.2. Authenticated photocopy of the Certification of Recognition; and G.1.3. Picture of the plaque/trophy/medal, (2) Athletic coach of athletes or teams who won prizes as follows National level = 10pts Regional level = Spts Division level 3pts District/cluster level 1pt Means of Verification (MOVs) as trainer/coach 6.2.1 A memorandum indicating the name of the teacher as coach; 6.2.2 Authenticated photocopy of the Certification of Recognition; and 6.2.3 Picture of the plaque/trophy/medal {3} Coordinator of Boy Scout or Girl Scout activities National level = 10pts Regional level S pts Division level = 3pts District/cluster level ipt ‘Means of Verification (MOVs) as coordinator of Boy/Girl Scout activity G.3.1 A memorandum indicating the name of the teacher as coordinator of Boy/Girl Scout activity from the authorized personnel; G.3.2 Authenticated photocopy of the Certification of Recognition/Appreciation; and 6.3.3 An accomplishment/narrative report (with pictures) of such activity. H. Authorship. Ten (10) points for a book and one (1) point for each article, provided they are on education. Sole Authorship 10pts. Co- authorship 5 pts. Memorandum indicating the name of the teacher as demonstration teacher; 1.2. Certificate of recognition as a demonstration teacher signed by the Cluster Head/PSDS for MT-1 and SDS for MT-2. 1.3. Lesson Plan duly approved by the Cluster Head/PSDS (for MT-1) and Education Program Supervisor (for MT-2) in charge of the specific learning area; and |.4. List of attendees /participants (with signatures) during the demonstration teaching. 1.5. Minutes of post conference duly signed by the Subject Area Specialist/ Educ. Program ‘Supervisor/PSDS
