Profile of Pancasila Students in the Independent Curriculum

Opening Statement

Pancasila Student Profile is a graduate profile that aims to show the character and competencies that are
expected to be achieved. Another goal is to strengthen the noble values of Pancasila for students and
stakeholders. Consists of 6 dimensions, namely faith, global diversity, independence, mutual cooperation,
critical reasoning, and creativity.

Explanation Sequence 1

Indonesian students who believe, fear God Almighty, and have noble character are students who have
character in their relationship with God Almighty. Understand religious teachings and beliefs, and apply this
understanding in their daily lives. The key elements include faith in religious morals, personal, in humans, in
nature, and in the state.

Indonesian students maintain their noble culture, locality and identity, and keep an open mind in
interacting with other cultures. So that it fosters mutual respect and the possibility of forming a positive
noble culture that does not conflict with the noble culture of the nation. The key elements are recognizing
and appreciating culture, intercultural communication skills in interacting with others, and reflection and
responsibility for the experience of diversity.

Indonesian students have the ability to work together, namely the ability to carry out activities together
voluntarily so that the activities carried out can run smoothly, easily and lightly. The key elements are
collaboration, caring and sharing.

Explanation Sequence 2

Indonesian students are independent students, namely students who are responsible for the process and
learning outcomes. The key element is awareness of oneself and the situation at hand and self-regulation.
Elements and the key is independence, self-awareness, and the situation at hand and self-regulation.

Students who think critically are able to objectively process information both qualitatively and
quantitatively, build relationships between various information, analyze information, evaluate and conclude
it. The key elements are obtaining and processing information and ideas, analyzing and evaluating reasoning,
reflecting on thoughts and thought processes, and making decisions.

Creative students are able to modify and produce something original, meaningful, useful, and impactful.
The key element is generating original ideas and producing original works and actions.

Closing

The Pancasila Student Profile is an attempt to translate the goals and vision of education into a format that
is easier to understand. Of course, it is easy for all education stakeholders to understand. Its purpose is to
serve as a compass for Indonesian educators and students. All learning, programs, and activities in the
education unit have the ultimate goal of the Pancasila Student Profile.
