Can we consider the manner of translation of Carolina Malay on the narrative account of Santiago

- No, it is not considered as a primary source of history. A primary source normally are the
ones or the things that directly involved in a situation. Carolina Malay only translated the
memiors and did not directly experienced the event. The information of the translated
narrative was based on the primary source which was the memiors of Santiago Alvarez.
Thus, the translation of Carolina Malay is now considered a secondary source.
