BML Community Fund projects completed in Kinbidhoo and Landhoo

Bank of Maldives has today announced the successful completion of projects in Th. Kinbidhoo
and N. Landhoo as part of its Community Fund.

Under the project, a picnic area was developed in Th. Kinbidhoo. The space will be utilized by
residents and students of Kinbidhoo School, and is equipped with huts, traditional joali, wooden
benches, BBQ areas and an outdoor shower.

Commenting on the project, Aishath Sama said “As there is no proper beach on the island,
residents usually travel to nearby islands for picnic or recreational activities. With the
development of this area, we now have a space for everyone to enjoy.”

A barbeque area was developed in N. Landhoo through the Community Fund. The space is
equipped with wooden benches, traditional joali, huts and has a canteen with mini library and a
storage area.

The winner of the Community Fund proposal, Ahmed Rasheed stated “Our aim is to create a
space to bring families and the community together. Sincere gratitude to everyone who
supported to make this project a reality”

The Community Fund supports projects in the thematic areas of education, environment, sports
and community development. The Bank is currently evaluating the proposals received for the
second quarter of this year.

‫ނިންމާލައިފިއެވެ‪.‬‬

‫މި ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްގެ ދަށުން ތ‪ .‬ކިނބިދޫގައި ވަނީ ޕިކްނިކް ސަރަހައްދެއް ތަރައްގީކޮށްފައެވެ‪ .‬ރަށުގެ ރައްޔިތުންނާއި ކިނބިދޫ ސްކޫލު ކުދިންނަށް ބޭނުން ކުރެވޭނެހެން‬
‫މި ސަރަހައްދުގައި ވަނީ ހަޓް‪ ،‬ޖޯލި‪ ،‬ބެންޗު އަދި އައުޓްޑޯ ޝަވަރެއް ބަހައްޓާފައެވެ‪.‬‬

‫މި ޕްރޮޖެކްޓާ ގުޅޭގޮތުން އައިޝަތު ސަމާ ވިދާޅުވީ "މިރަށުގައި މޫދަށް އެރުމަށް ހާއްސަ ބީޗު ސަރަހައްދެއް ނެތުމު ް‬
‫ނ މަޖުބޫރުވޭ‪ .‬މި ސަރަހައްދު ތަރައްގީވުމާއެކު‪ ،‬މިއީ އެންމެނަށްވެސް‬ ‫މުނިފޫހިފިލުވުމުގެ ހަރަކާތަތަކަށް އާންމު ގޮތެއްގައި ކައިރި ރަށްރަށަށް ދަތުރުކުރަ ް‬
‫ބޭނުންކުރެވެނެ ތަނެއް‪".‬‬

‫ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑުގެ އެހީގައި ނ‪.‬ލަންދޫގައި ވަނީ ބާބަކިއު ހެދުމަށް ހާއްސަ ސަރަހައްދެއް ތަރައްގީކޮށްފައެވެ‪ .‬މި ސަރަހައްދުގައި ވަނީ ބެންޗު‪ ،‬އުނދޯލި‪ ،‬އަދި ހަޓު‬
‫ބަހައްޓާފައެވެ‪ .‬މި ބާބަކިއު ސަރަހައްދުގައި މިނީ ލައިބްރަރީ އަކާއެކު ކެންޓީނެއް އަދި ތަކެތި ރައްކާކުރުމަށް ސްޓޯރެއް ވަނީ ގާއިމްކުރެވިފައެވެ‪.‬‬

‫ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑު ޕްރޮޕޯސަލް ކާމިޔާބު ކުރި އަހުމަދު ރަޝީދު ވިދާޅުވީ " މި ބާބަކިއު ސަރަހައްދު ހެދުމުގެ އެންމު ބޮޑު މަގުސަދަކީ ހިތްހަމަޖެހުމާއި އުފަލުގެ‬
‫ތެރެއިން އެކުވެރި ބަދަހި އާއިލާތަކެއް އުފައްދާ އެއްބައިވަންތަ މުޖުތަމައުއެއް ބިނާކުރުން‪ .‬މި ޕްރޮޖެކްޓް ހަގީގަތަކަށް ހެދުމަށް އެހީތެރިވެދެއްވި ހުރިހާ ފަރާތްތަކަށް‬
‫ހާއްސަ ޝުކުރެއް އަދާކުރަން‪".‬‬

‫ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑަކީ ހިލޭ ސާބަހަށް ކުރާ މަސައްކަތްތަކަށާއި‪ ،‬ތަޢުލީމާއި‪ ،‬ކުޅިވަރު ހަރަކާތްތަކުގެ އިތުރުން ތިމާވެށި ހިމާޔަތްކުރުން ފަދަ ކަންކަމަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން‬
‫ހުށަހެޅޭ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތަކެކެވެ‪ .‬މިހާރު ބޭންކުން ދަނީ މިއަހަރުގެ ދެވަނަ ކުއާޓަރ އަށް ހުށަހެޅުނު ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތައް އިވެލުއޭޓް ކުރުމުގެ މަސައްކަތްކުރަމުންނެވެ‪.‬‬
