As humans, we have a dignity to uphold by all means, An honor that we must keep in mind and in heart, as created by the image and likeness of God. By abiding to his greatest commandments wholeheartedly and to use our gifts to serve God and our neighbors. And to willingly learn and apply excellence in everything we do, In Psalms 85-7, it tackled about how God made us, humans, little less of angels and gave us glory and honor to have the ability to rule over His creations. As a human person, we were given numerous gifts, together with numerous responsibilities. And as stated in 1 John 3:1-3, as children of God, we need to be like-God by seeing Him as He is and be as pure as He is, for we are bound to serve others, and are expected to be responsible enough and act morally in all things for we are endowed with dignity and freedom. We were meant to and will always be expected to always chooseto do good and avoid what is evil, and in times that we fail to do so, we must remember that we can always repent and convert through the sacrament of reconciliation. For it is a chance to redeem ourselves, ask for forgiveness, and become better at doing what is true and right. With us being created in God's image and likeness, redeemed by Jesus Christ, we are expected to grow into becoming His soldier against injustices in life. All human person shares the same responsibilities, guided by the two great commandments. We are to always uphold justice and choose to do what is right, not only because we want to save our dignity, but because itis what we should have donein the first place and the first thing that we should do in our today and tomorrow. In life, we faced cruelties and injustices, there were times where we failed to stand against it, however, itis never too late to stand against them today. We should always remember, to become tthe person we where meant to be, we should bea person with dignity, and exert excellence in everything we do. How can we make use of responsible freedom? 5 point of Freedom and Moral Responsibility - Moral responsibility tells us that we must, should and ought to do certain acts because they are good and if we pursue them we become free. - Having moral responsibility makes human person capable of reflecting in the situation, forming intentions about how they will act and then carrying out the action. - Moral responsibility helps us to see how we are supposed to obey and do that which is good. - Moral responsibility is grounded and seen in the context of a community. - Moral responsibility is giving more of ourselves and what we have to others. Reflection: learned that, the moment we commit ourselves to being morally responsible, we will always do what is right to feel the kind freedom that we seemed to have lost for along time because of our way of living where we just focused on mostly on ourselves, however it always calls depending on the situation but we should always remember that if we are capable of doing something, may it be little or big, we should always do what isright and help others and not only ourselves. Remember: + Christian moral life isthe call to become loving persons, in the fullness of life with others in community before God in imitation of Christ. + If we want to become our truest self and truly happy we ought to choose the good. + We just have to dispose ourselves more in prayer so that the power of spirit will rest on us always.
