I. INTRODUCTION
Mathematics is very important study program, since it is essential for the education of every learners, in the same way it is
consider as a method to develop creative reasoning in an individual. Consider Mathematics as a strong foundation of education. In
Kindergarten, number recognition is one of the vital skills in Mathematics specially in developing stage. Teacher focused in making
Mathematics fun and enjoyable activities while the pupils learning. They used lid of bottles as counters to promote “LID to Count” using
recycled materials. The parents play an important role in the success of this project through the Project MKGKPAKM.This project
direct towards improving the mathematical skills of the pupils. It includes varied materials and activites which help to develop the habits
of recognizing numbers thus improving the learning ability of the pupils and becoming mathematical numerates.
Teaching Mathematics is really fun and exciting to those learners who loves this subject it’s more fun in discovering different
ways of finding the answer in mathematical problems, most of the leabut to the learners who find difficulty in answering the activity
especially problem solving they show lack of interest in this subject. In this time of pandemic, printed modular mode of learnings, most
of the learners finds/experiences difficulty so they focused to other things rather than studying/practicing their skills in Mathematics.
The level of performance of the learners in Mathematics are less evidence. So, the teachers are more challenging how they
catch the attention of the learners in learning to love Mathematics. The school developed and implemented projects to help teachers,
parents and learners to level up their performance in Mathematics.

IV. EVALUATION
Project UNLAD GURO will be focusing on professional growth and development of the teachers for us to update/upgrade our
profession in teaching to be more effective, efficient and to give quality education for our learners.
Project PLUS-M was implemented for pupil’s progress and development. This project was implemented for the last two years, it
results of reducing numbers of non-numerates.
While Project MKGKPAM aims to teach parents basic mathematical facts and teaching techniques for their child. This project
was implemented last school year 2020-2021. The root cause of this project was low MPS result most especially in intermediate level
because most of the parents in intermediate level cannot deeply understand the lesson. So, the teachers teach them mathematical
facts like fractions, Integers, Geometry, Plane and Solid Figures and etc. It helps the parents to educate with the help of the teachers
on how they can easily teach the lesson to their child. It also a big help for the learners because they are motivated in learning to
solved a simple word problem and basic fundamentals with the used of different learning materials provided by the teachers like
activity sheets, charts, drill cards, counters and etc. The teachers guide the parents in handling the problem they encountered in
teaching and guiding their child in answering different activities.
