• LUNCH at Restaurant Macciavelli
• You can take one main dish (vegan protein, vegetarian, meat/fish options)
for free (by having your name tag visible)
• You can take side dishes (potato, rice etc.) salad, bread and water as
much as you like

• The menu in the restaurant includes information on the allergens. If you do not
find relevant information, please ask for the restaurant staff or Turku Uni
students or staff

• Several toilets at each level of the building


• Across the foyer, at the other end

• Disabled person’s toilets available opposite or next to other

• These are also all-gender restrooms

• Teaching takes place here in the Publicum building


• The first number stands for the level/floor on which the
lecture theatres are located

• Pub1 → Level 1

With electric scooters, please note!

“Use a cycle path, cycle lane or cycle street and if there is


none, ride on the riding an electric scooter on the pavement
is unequivocally prohibited. As with a bicycle, the electric
scooter must also be used on the cycle track, if a cycle track is
available. The right side of the cycle track is used, and those
riding in front are bypassed in the middle of the track. If there is
no cycle track, the electric scooter is used on the right side of
the road or carriageway. Riding on a cycle lane is subject to
the same regulations as driving on the carriageway.”

Coat of arms of the city of Turku is based on a medieval
seal dating back to 1309. Gothic letter "A" is based on the
Latin name of the city, "Aboa". Lily is a symbol often
depicted on coats of arms and it symbolises the Virgin
Mary, to whom the Turku Cathedral is sacralised to.
