Overview
Are you determined to succeed in the world of corporate finance?

The Accounting and Finance BSc aims to provide students with broad knowledge and insight
into the world of corporate finance.

Throughout your course, you will undertake a number of compulsory modules in accounting and
finance. You will also be able to choose from a wide range of optional modules, including
economics, entrepreneurship, global supply chains, management and leadership.

The course aims to help students develop a wide range of transferrable skills, including critical
thinking, analytical problem solving, working in teams, researching, synthesising and
communicating information.

Professional recognition

The School of Business and Management has strong links with professional accountancy bodies
the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants (CIMA). This course is accredited by ACCA. BSc Accounting and
Finance students will be eligible to acquire exemptions to certain ACCA and CIMA exams by
applying to the relevant professional body upon graduating.

Integrated foundation year

International students can apply for our Accounting and Finance BSc with an Integrated
Foundation Year. The foundation year prepares you for the rest of the programme and is taught
on campus by Queen Mary lecturers.
