The word mission can be used as a noun


Missions themselves are simple statements that clarify what you are all about and what you
want to do in life. Figuring out your mission sounds simple, but it’s often hard. Often, the
greater the mission, the more simply it can be stated. Your mission needs to include your
enthusiasms for life. If you have no passion for your mission, then it isn’t really your mission.
As of Nov. 21, 2022, the population of the world is about 7.9 billion.
Thus, there could also be 7.9 billion definitions and interpretation of what Mission is.
But from this total population, 47.7% are Christians and their definition of Mission is in
unison that it is to send on or entrust with a mission, a mission from God.
Also, in other religious groups such as Animism, Hinduism, China, Islam, Buddhism and
Taoism set also for missionaries to proclaim the gospels of their god as an entrusted to them.

From the numbers presented it goes to say that majority of the population defines mission as
to send on or entrust with a mission, a mission from God thus making it the most common
definition of the term.
