Origin
Peter Donovan was a mutant with the very weak ability to control electric currents. He lived his life not giving his minor
power a second thought, right up until he was kidnapped by goons working for Pinnacle Labs. One of their areas of
research was activating or enhancing the powers of latent and low-powered mutants. The project worked better than
anyone anticipated: Pete’s power level skyrocketed, turning him into an electrified juggernaut. He immediately started
using that power to drain electricity from the rest of the facility, and things just got more fun from there. Peter started
doing the Minion Mash as he rampaged through the place, and that was all well and good until he ran smack into the
head of Pinnacle, Alpha Black. Black was less than pleased at having his facility dismantled, and made his displeasure
known to Peter as painfully as possible. Pete was on the brink of defeat when Gatecrasher, a second escaping test
subject, interfered. The two of them managed to overpower Alpha Black and escape the lab. Pete’s powers eventually
stabilized, and since then, he’s been using them to fight crime as the hero named Generator.

Motivation: Responsibility
Peter didn’t ask for these powers, but now that he has them, he’ll make sure to use them for the right reasons.

Power Descriptions
Aura (electricity)
Peter can surround himself with an electric field that will hurt anyone that can come in contact with him, either by a touch
or a punch. Anyone who touches him suffers an attack of 6d that can only be resisted with passive defenses. He can
also inflict 6d of attack in close combat. When active, Peter tends to send out crackling arcs of electricity around him,
shorting out circuits and putting scorch marks on the carpet.
Blast (energy)
Peter can shoot out bolts of electricity with an attack roll of 10d.
Detection (electricity; Limited: impaired in strong EM fields)
Peter can sense the presence and location of any electricity around him, although strong electromagnetic fields can
hamper his accuracy.
Energy Absorption (electricity, Limited: can be overwhelmed and incapacitated if he absorbs too much too
quickly)
Peter can absorb electricity into his body, either from an attack or from an available power source. As such, it can work
as passive defense against an electrical attack (although it's moot since he's also immune to electricity). He can absorb
the rank of such an attack, up to his maximum of 10d. Absorbed energy must be spent immediately in one of the
following ways:
• boost his Agility, Might, or Toughness to the rank of the absorbed energy until the end of the following page
• grant him a +1d bonus to all rolls until the end of the following page
• fired out as a Blast at the rank of the absorbed energy
• heal one point of damage for every 2 full ranks absorbed
Flight
Peter can fly, up to a speed of 500 mph.
Immunity (electricity)
Peter is immune to electrical attacks.
Machine Control (only electronics)
Peter can control electronic devices (but only electronic, nothing purely mechanical) at up to Distant Range by
manipulating the electrical currents inside. He can control multiple devices at the same time, but every extra machine
controlled lowers your effective Power rank by 1d, and you still suffer the usual -2d penalty if you use the Power to
perform multiple attacks or actions in combat.
Radar (Limited: impaired in strong EM fields)
Peter can sense the fluctuations of voltage and electrical flow to get a three-dimensional image of your surroundings.
This doesn’t let him see flat images like print, pictures, or video displays, and it tends to get very fuzzy around strong
electromagnetic fields.
