Public Notice for the candidates in Kandukur Assembly Constituency

comprising 5 mandals namely Gudluru, Lingasamudram, Kadnukur,
Ulavapadu, Voletivaripalem and Kandukur Muncipality

All the candidates in Kandukur Assembly Constituency comprising 5

mandals namely Gudluru, Lingasamudram, Kadnukur, Ulavapadu,
Voletivaripalem and Kandukur Muncipality, participating in Web Counselling
of EAPCET-2022 Admissions are informed that the Government has created
26 new districts in the Andhra Pradesh. But the Presidential order is yet to be
amended by the Hon’ble President of India.
The Government has given clarification on “Local Area” to make
admissions for academic year 2022-23 upon creation of 26 new districts in the
Andhra Pradesh vide Lr.No 17772671/UE/A1/2022 dated 02-08-2022 “The
admissions shall be governed by territorial jurisdiction comprising the
old 13 districts for the academic year 2022-23 for considering the Local
area of the candidates”.
Further it is informed that the Kandukur Assembly Constituency
comprising 5 mandals namely Gudluru, Lingasamudram, Kadnukur,
Ulavapadu, Voletivaripalem and Kandukur Muncipality are under territorial
jurisdiction of Prakasam district as per the old districts of Andha Pradesh. As
per the above directions of the Government orders, the Local area of the
students studied (Intermediate to 6th Class) in the above mandals including
Kandukur Muncipality, will be treated as Andhra University (A.U.) Local
Area for the purpose of admissions.
After creation of 26 new districts in the Andhra Pradesh, the above said
5 mandals including Kandukur Muncipality of Kandukur Assembly
Constituency are under territorial jurisdiction of SPS Nellore district said to be
under Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Local Area. But the Local area of
the students studied (Intermediate to 6th Class) in the above mandals
including Kandukur Muncipality, will be treated as Andhra University
(A.U.) Local Area for the purpose of admissions for the academic year
2022-23.
 Hence, all the students studied in above said 5 mandals including
Kandukur Muncipality of Kandukur Assembly Constituency,
participated/participating in EAPCET-2022 admissions, whose certificates are
auto verified/ verified at HLCs thorugh online, are directed to check the status
of Local Area in the tab “ Print Verified Status” in https://sche.ap.gov.in. Upon
verification, the candidates( studied in above said 5 mandals including
Kandukur Muncipality of Kandukur Assembly Constituency), if Local area is to
be changed from SVU to AU are further directed to visit nearest Help Line
Centre for change of Local Area. This activity should have to perform before
exercising options in the Web Counselling. Once the options are exercised
change of any data is not permitted.
