Counselling Schedule-BE/BTech (2022-23)

Second round of counselling for admission to various BE/BTech programmes at TIET is
scheduled as per the following details.

a) Through Zoom platform on 22nd August 2022

This round will be done online through Zoom platform. Candidates are not required
to visit the campus.

*No branch other than the branches mentioned above will be offered in this round
of counselling for the candidates belonging to the General category.

Mode of Counselling
Counselling will be held through zoom platform. Interested candidates can join the
counselling through zoom link https://tiet.zoom.us/j/94226833880

Admission Criteria
Admissions to these branches shall be done on the basis of JEE Main – 2022 AIR.
After offering the seats to all the eligible candidates on the basis of JEE Main – 2022
AIR, vacant seats (if any) will be offered to eligible candidates on the basis of 10+2
PCM merit. Candidates offered admission in this round of counselling are required
to deposit a fee within two hours (once the admission is offered) on the day of
counselling.

b) Through online on 23rd August 2022

Branches to be offered
Vacant seats of all the branches will be offered to the candidates.

Mode of Counselling
This round will be done online. Candidates are not required to visit the campus. There
will be no one to one interaction. Branch allocation will be done automatically as
per the merit, category wise seat availability and branch preference order filled in
the application form. Category/Branch wise cut-off list will be displayed on the
website between 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM on 23rd August 2022.

Admission Criteria
Admission will be offered on the basis of JEE Main – 2022 AIR.
Important Note
a. Candidates who will be applying by 20th August 2022 will be considered for
admission in this round of counselling.
b. If a candidate is offered admission and he/she does not deposit the prescribed
fees by the prescribed date/time, the offer made shall be treated as cancelled.
No correspondence or appeal in this regard will be entertained.
c. Candidates will be able to check their allotted branch at
https://webkiosk.thapar.edu/Admission with Login ID as the registered email ID
and password as the numeric part of the TIET application number. Click on “View
Branch Allocation Status” after login in to the dashboard.
d. After making the payment, please make sure to make an entry in the “Fee
Confirmation Slip” available at https://webkiosk.thapar.edu/Admission. The fee
will be considered as paid only if the entry is made in the “Fee Confirmation Slip”.
