PRODUCT REVIEW (METAL STRAW)

Assalamualaikum wbt and a very good day.

My name is Ahmad Ruzain Zahrin Bin Sabaruddin.

Today I would like to review a product, which is, metal straw.

I have many of metal straws but this is my most used metal straw.

My mother bought me this metal straw from MR. DIY for about RM 3.00.

I can see that this metal straw was made with high quality stainless steel and it

won’t break easily.

It is very convenient for me to bring it anywhere.

I can put it in my sling bag.

I also bring my metal straw to school too, since my school has stopped providing

us plastic straws.

It is one of the ways to keep our environment safe as well.

I prefer metal straw over plastic straw because metal straw is reusable and

easy to wash.

You can’t use the plastic straw anymore after you used it.

Not many people are aware of the impact of plastic waste on our environment.

I found that metal straw typically made from highly durable stainless steel that

can last for up to five years.

Not only that, this metal straw can be recycled again and again.

Isn’t it better for the environment?

For a young boy like me, it is very easy to keep the metal straws clean.

Hot clean water and a tiny brush are the only things I need to maintain its

cleanliness.

Cleaning it regularly is a must to get rid of any leftover food and drink inside

the straw before it hardens and sticks.

Sometimes, I use lemon to clean my metal straw.

The acid juice in lemons can kill bacteria, mold and germs so it’s a great

alternative to clean metal straws with.

I don’t really wash the metal straw with soap.

Did you know soap contained chemical that could contaminate our oceans and

rivers?

Yes!! Soap or detergents can eventually impact the environment.

I hope my friends too are aware of the importance of keeping our environment

safe.

We can do this if we start with small steps such as using metal straws in our

daily life.

I am very happy that my mother explained the importance of eco-friendly

products to me and teach me how to practice them.

At school, we practice reduce, reuse and recycle.

It’s just a waste if I don’t practice it in my daily life.

By using metal straws everyday has trained me how to be more responsible to

protect our environment.
