INTRODUCTION

We wired a three way control of 2 lamps in parallel and two 110V outlets using trunking, conduit

and sheathed cable. The circuit was wired using the Jamaica Standard Regulations.

The following tasks were carried out:

a. Design a 3 way control lighting circuit.

b. Connect a 3 110V light circuit controlling two lamps in parallel, using 2 two – way

switches and an intermediate switch.

c. Wire two (2) general purpose 110V/5A outlets

d. Install circuit breakers to control each circuits.

e. Test circuit and submit for evaluation.

Circuit Operation

1. The circuit was connected so that the two lamps connected can be controlled from three

(3) different switching points, using one four way switch and 2 two way switches.

2. The plug outlets circuit was connected according to Jamaica Standard Regulations.

3. The two lamps were protected by a 15A single pole circuit breaker.

4. The plug circuit was protected 20 A single pole breaker.
