This document describes a process automation laboratory experiment to classify different objects based on their weight. The objectives are to verify the PC to LOGO connection, create a 3D scene in Factory IO using conveyors and pushers, and create a LogoSoft diagram to satisfy the automation tasks. The tasks include starting conveyors when a start button is pressed and activating specific pushers to classify small, medium, and large boxes by weight, with a manual pusher for unclassified boxes. The student notes problems encountered such as boxes getting stuck on ramps and weight varying after the scale, which were addressed by resetting pistons and sensing weight in the center of the scale.

Objective: To classify different object based on their weight.
1. Verify the connection from PC to LOGO. 2. Realize and organize a 3D Scene in Factory IO using a conveyor scale, IN conveyor, OUT conveyor, four pushers, emitter box, four chute conveyor, one start bottom and required sensors. 3. Realize the diagram in LogoSoft to satisfy the next activities: Instructions: • The conveyors and emitter start when the start button is activated. • The pusher 1 (in Factory IO) is activated when a small box is weighted. • The pusher 2 (in Factory IO) is activated when a medium box is weighted. • The pusher 3 (in Factory IO) is activated when a big box is weighted. • The pusher 4 (in Factory IO) is manual activated when an unclassified box is detected.

3. Conclusions
“En la realización de esta practica yo me encontre con muchos problemas como
por ejemplo uno de ellos es que la caja pegaba en la rampa y mi piston no se reseteaba y por lo tanto siempre se quedaba activo y despues cualquier caja ese piston la empujaba. Otro de los problemas es que la bascula variaba el peso al pasar a la banda transportadora entonces para eso puse un sensor en el centro de la bascula para que guardara el peso sin variar. ”
