2. Set-Up/Installation
2.1 Unpacking and Set-up Y N
Check of delivery note with actually delivered items delivery complete
Packing obviously damaged
Are damages on the instrument observable
TC1/TD4 protection tube (polymer pipe) not moved/damaged moved/damaged
User manual included
Check if power switch at power supply unit is in position "0"
Connect TensioTouch at instrument backside acc. user manual done
Connect power supply unit at instrument backside acc. user manual done
Level the unit with adjustable feet and integrated bubble level done

2.2 First start-up

2.2.1 TC1/TD4 power up (switch on power supply unit)
At TD4:
With power up of the unit the sample stage automatically moves down to the lowest position.
This initialization must not be interrupted
Take out the protection tube once free (careful with the hook at weighing system)

At TC1:
Move the sample stage manually downwards with the hand wheel
Take out the protection tube once free (careful with the hook at weighing system)
Desinfection of hands (attention: Don´t use soap)
Alternative: Use single-use gloves, POWDERFREE!
Unpack the ring/plate
Clean (with Ethanol or Acetone) and anneal the ring/plate
Place the ring/plate on the hook (don´t pull on the hook heavily)
Adjust weighing system with calibration weight (acc. user manual)
Tare the weighing system (acc. user manual)

2.2.2 Set-up and connection of PTT+, if ordered

Put PTT+ in defined position on sample stage TD4
(use adaptor plate for TC1)
Connect power supply unit to PTT+
Connect control cable to TC1/TD4 at instrument backside acc. user manual
Fill the chamber via the included syringe with 6-8ml water (de-ionized) through the
filling hole next to the thermostating chamber
Take a sample vial and put it into the thermostating chamber
Connect the temperature sensor of the PTT+ and place it in the designated
position (magnetic seat)
Power up PTT+
PTT+ Instrument details
Serial number (instrument backside):
Demonstrate temperature and stirrer setting (menue in Tensio.Touch)
