BARANGAY BUDGET MESSAGE

The Honorable Members

Sangguniang Bayan
Paniqui, Tarlac

I am submitting herewith the proposed Barangay Budget CY-2021. The Provisions

Mandated by the Local Government Code had been complied with among others are the
following:

1. The estimated IRA of the Barangay for the CY-2021 forwarded by the DBM is
Php5,417,468.00 An additional amount of Php252,000.00 taken from various sources
was added to make it to Php5,669,468.00, and this amount will now cover all the
appropriating funds for the period of January 01, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

2. The total proposed for Personal Services has been set at Php2,103,800.00which is
within the percentage limitation set by the code.

3. The total expenditures for Maintenance & Other Operating Expenses are
Php1,631,854.20

4. The total proposed Appropriation for Sangguniang Kabataan has been set as 10% of the
total income and the amount is Php566,946.80

5. A lump sum amount of Php283,373.40 is equal to 5% of the Budget Year Income from
regular sources has been set for Calamity Fund.

6. The total proposed amount for Discretionary Expenses is Php3,654.91 which is 2% of

our Actual Receipt from Real Property Collection of the next preceding year.

7. The total proposed for the Development Projects is Php1,083,493.60 which is 20% of
our share from the IRA and it has been set for the proposed projects funded under this
fund are as follows:

1) Installation of Streetlights for various purok Php127,600.00

2) Improvement of Health Center Php27,285.20
3) Installation of Motorized and Manual Deep well for various Purok Php250,000.00
4) Embankment of Road at for various Purok Php80,000.00
5) Concreting of Road at Purok 1(133 meters) Php318,608.40
6) Concrete Pavement along Barangay Plaza Php50,000.00
7) De-clogging of drainage canal at Purok 5&6 Php100,000.00
8) Rehabilitation of canal cover at Purok 5&6 Php100,000.00
9) Installation of Canal at Barangay Hall Compound Php30,000.00

Total Php1,083,493.60

8. The minimum of 5% CY-2020 appropriation was set for the projects formulated to
address GAD Program in accordance with R.A 7192. The projects are as follows:

 a) Financial Assistance 50,000.00
b) BCPC 56,649.68
c) 20% Development Fund 1,083,493.60
d) PWD 28,347.34
e) OSCA 28,347.34

Php1,241,837.96

9.) The total proposed budget for OSCA is 28,347.34 and for PWD is 28,347.34 which is
1% from the Net Resources for Appropriation.

10.) The total proposed budget for BCPC is Php56,649.68 which is 1% from the Net
Resources for Appropriation.
