Success review for advert

I was asked to prepare this report to assess the effectiveness of the


three print advertisements I created for Pizza Hut to inform future campaigns.
To do this, I have made a questionnaire. This will help me in my evaluation.
These are the ads from my advertising campaign.

Explaining my creative decisions

For my advertisement, I have made sure that it is as persuasive as


possible to attract a huge audience of teenagers. All of the elements are there
to signify speed and popularity. They are supposed to make you want to buy
Pizza Hut because of the fast delivery service and the good quality of the food.

I started by making my advertisement appealing to a younger audience,


specifically teenagers. I made the ad bright, stylish, and fun to look at, and I
added some persuasive writing at the bottom of the page. I used red for the
background because I felt that it would be more recognizable as a Pizza Hut
ad. From my survey, I have found that people generally associate the color red
with Pizza Hut. The pizzas in the background are real, not cartoons. I wanted to
create some kind of contrast between the cartoon images and real items. I also
put the Pizza Hut logo in the ad to show that it is indeed a real Pizza Hut ad.

Another feature was to use good-quality photos and backgrounds so


that my print ads could be as modern and attractive to teenagers as possible.
I made it clean-looking and bright to attract attention.

Finally, I made convincing slogans for each ad to make them different


and creative. These slogans are there to persuade the viewer to buy pizza
because Pizza Hut is faster and better than its competitors. The slogans are
also memorable so that you can associate them with the physiological
Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Technical Skills

I used the online software called Canva because it was so familiar to me


and allowed me to create visually stunning designs. in order to emphasize the

main points that I mentioned earlier. I used different tools found in Canva, like
fonts, different shapes, and background color, to create a well-structured and
professional design that is appealing to the target audience and would help
market my ads more effectively.

Using the shapes, I created different angles. For example, in my first ad, I have
a triangle to create a hill for the driver to go down. I also used tools like
graphics and stickers.
I used the element tool to find and pick the images that are in the ad.
This helped me make my ad as professional as possible. I also googled some
images, like the Pizza Hut logo. For the background tool, I made sure that it
was a similar shad to the original Pizza Hut print ads. It was very easy to make
these ads because Canva has all of the tools laid out, which allows me to make
professional-looking posters that appeal to my target audience.
For instance, I have used the color wheel to change the colors. A color
wheel is a fantastic tool for changing the colors in my designs. Simply point
and click to select from a variety of color selections. Text, backgrounds, shapes,
icons, and other objects can all benefit from these effects. I also used text
holders, which enabled me to move text around my projects with ease. In
addition, I layout my images in Canva grids to create a story visually or as an
easy technique to make a great impact on my target audience.

and layout of this ad as well
as the themes and slogan.

executed and appealing, and it shows that it was seen as a persuasive

second advertisement was

means that I was successful
in making my ad appealing.
However, 12.5% of people said
that they disliked the ad,
meaning that there is always
room for improvement. I
could have made the
advertisement more appealing by making it have bigger text or brighter colors
to be more eye-catching. Overall, this advertisement was successful because
the majority of people liked it, and it helped me promote Pizza Hut.

next time I make an ad I will

people are saying that they
found this ad appealing,
which is great because that
means that they would buy
from Pizza Hut after seeing
this ad.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 9.5% of people


said that my ad was appealing,
meaning that I successfully made
my ad appealing to my target
audience. But there are also things
I can improve in my ad like I could
experiment with different colors
and font styles.

means that they
are bright,
colorful, and
nice-looking. All
my ads had the
same theme so
that people could see that it was a concept for Pizza Hut.

Conclusion

My greatest strength in developing these advertisements was coming up


with unique ways to develop and create high-quality professional print
advertisements that relate to Pizza Hut. I used Canva to make these
advertisements, and I think I did well in making and using that app to make an
eye-catching and appealing advertisement.

On the other hand, I struggled to make a slogan that was appealing and
meaningful. Next time, I will try to make a slogan that relates to my
advertisement and has a more impactful meaning. I think that I should have
also experimented with different tools in Canva so that it could be more
creative and modern. I could also have added some more creative elements to
enhance my advertisement.
