ACADEMIC TEXTS AND WRITING

Academic text and writing play a vital role in our everyday lives, such as showing information
that is helpful and essential in today's culture and society. People nowadays love to gossip
information. There is no certainty that this information is accurate, but the information that I'm
talking about is factual information that allows readers to be informed and not deluded by any of
the information that is rampant nowadays. To make this happen, writers must follow simple
elements that some people or writers may not consider in creating academic text.

The first element is the presentation and elaboration of ideas. It is an element where your mind
should think about certain accurate topics that are connected and inline with what you want to
write. It is where you gather ideas from inspiration or some other things that make you want to
create a text on a certain topic. This will serve as the hard foundation of your text, where all the
subjects must be connected to what you want to produce.

When you are done with the first element, use the second element, which is organization of
ideas. When you've gathered enough ideas and information, it's time to organize them. It allows
you to put ideas in an organized way so your readers will fully comprehend the information you
want them to acknowledge and enhance their reading and understanding skills without any
trouble.

Many people continue to make mistakes with capitalization and punctuation; some do not think
it is important, and others have no idea how important it is in creating texts. It should have the
element mechanics where you will use the proper usage of capitalization and punctuation in
your paragraph or in your phrases, so your readers must know where it ends and where the
next point starts.
The last element, and the most important, is the genres or types of the text you want to produce
so your readers can expect the theme of the whole text you created. It can be in the form of a
research paper, rhetorical analysis, or so much more.

To sum it up, these simple elements of creating academic text have a big impact on people or
writers when they are properly used and considered in producing text. These elements, which
include presentation and elaboration of ideas; organization of ideas; mechanics; and styles or
genre, assist writers in making academic writing more comprehensive and will undoubtedly
assist people in innovating more information based on an accurate process. Making the skills of
creating academic text accessible, easy and comfortable to do.
