DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATIC MILK HEATING TECHNOLOGY IN
HOUSEHOLD APPLICATION USING CONDUCTOR PRINCIPLE
ABSTRACT
With growing concerns on the safety of food for consumption by humans, an
efficient processing technique that is more easily controlled and as effective as current techniques could revolutionize the food industry in the coming years. Present day energy conservation strategies focus mainly on novel low energy high efficient methods of food processing suitable for long storage with minimal nutrient loss. In this proposed system of milk heating concept, a solution is identified for overflow of milk while heating in an ordinary pot after getting enough heat in it. In this work a small conducting metallic wire with insulator is inserted up to 15 mm in to the top of the plate which is used for closing the pot and connected directly in to the cathode terminal of the battery. The burner valve is connected by a DC motor and which is operated only at the time of closing the burner valve for off the stove. Another metallic wire with insulator is inserted up to 15 mm in to the top of the plate and which is connected to the anode terminal of battery through DC motor. The two metallic wires having no contact between them and to the metallic pot before raising the level of milk. While raising the level of milk in the pot during heating there is a contact between the two metallic wires and motor is running and closing the valve automatically. After cut off the burner, the level of milk in the pot is falling down and automatically conduction between two metallic wires were cut off and motor is stop.
