TASK PERFORMANCE

Based on the handouts given, I’m belong to Level III post Conventional morality,

stage 5 which is social contract. According to its nature of moral reasoning, people

recognize that rules represent agreement among many individuals about appropriate

behavior. Ever since I entered and started college, I just realized and understand what

was the real world means, specifically facing the real struggles in life and experiencing

such horrible situations that would push me to make decisions on my own. In my age

right now, I am starting to be dependent and also making decisions all by myself, as

curiosity leads me to know about other things, it helps me to improve and develop

myself to be a better person. Before, I am only a normal individual who don’t mind the

issues our society is facing and a typical student who’s not aware about everything.

Now, the time when I reach my maturity stage, I am very eager to understand and want

to be a responsible citizen and as a college student I want to help myself to be updated

regarding the problems in this real world in order for me to have some contributions to

make our country a progressive one.

In this stage of my life, I am now aware about what is morality and why being a

responsible citizen is very important to each of us. It enlightens my mind that helping

each other leads for the better. I’m really encouraging myself to question and view the

others most especially the values what the others are showing that I can apply to

myself.
