Intro: How important is faith in our lives? Some faith is related to our upbringing, some to our religion, and some to our own choice. Like what is happening right now to our society. But faith is so important that the Bible says for without faith it is impossible to please God. I. Faith is the way to everything with God. 1. Faith is the way to salvation. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). 31 At kanilang sinabi, Manampalataya ka sa Panginoong Jesus, at maliligtas ka, ikaw at ang iyong sangbahayan. 2. Faith is the way to live your life in God. “The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). 20 Ako'y napako sa krus na kasama ni Cristo; at hindi na ako ang nabubuhay, kundi si Cristo ang nabubuhay sa akin: at ang buhay na ikinabubuhay ko ngayon sa laman ay ikinabubuhay ko sa pananampalataya, ang pananampalataya na ito'y sa Anak ng Dios, na sa akin ay umibig, at ibinigay ang kaniyang sarili dahil sa akin. 3. Faith is the way to persevere when difficult things come into your life. “You stand fast through faith” (Romans 11:20). 20 Mabuti; sa kawalan nila ng pananampalataya ay nangabali sila, at sa iyong pananampalataya'y nakatayo ka. Huwag kang magpalalo kundi matakot ka: 4. Faith is the way to walk with God. How do I keep this day by day going with God? “We walk by faith not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). 7 (Sapagka't nagsisilakad kami sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya, hindi sa pamamagitan ng paningin); 5. Faith is the way to resist satan and his attacks. “Resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:9). 9 Na siya'y labanan ninyong matatag sa inyong pananampalataya, yamang inyong nalalaman na ang mga gayong hirap ay nagaganap sa inyong mga kapatid na nangasa sanglibutan. II. Conclusion. This is how beautiful our faith is. The whole aspects of our lives depends on our faith. So it is our choice to respond to God’s word with belief. Faith and His words are inseparable. Lastly, how do we know that we are on the right faith? It produces a changed life. *Remember, We did not choose God, God chose us! Because if were the one who chose, we choose only what we want to believe.
