The documentary's title was "pandemic teachers," The writer who narrated it was Kara David,
who appeared on the channel seven telegram network. The epidemic that people are experiencing
has a significant impact on everyone, including the instructors, kids, and parents featured in the
episode. Teachers, particularly in this day and age, are dealing with a significant problem
resulting from the pandemic. Today's educational system uses gadgets and current technologies
to give and educate knowledge to every student. Not all human civilizations have material
possessions such as cellphones, laptops, and other modern equipment that are not well
recognized. There is no signal in regions where the government has not taken action, such as the
provinces, which is also not widely known. The implementation of distance learning in the
Philippines has been ongoing for a year. The Department of Education (DepEd) has allocated a
large budget for online learning, has encouraged the internet and launched a channel where
children can watch lessons. However, some areas are not accessible by internet or electricity, and
where the signal is also weak. Thousands of young people are fumbling around in the dark,
unable to concentrate on their studies, so they advocate for teachers' housing.
The pandemic outbreak made it impossible for students and instructors to complete their
educations, as everything appeared to change and their load of issues rose. It is understandable
and significance of each teacher that their role is to act as frontline educators in education in the
field of education. The following are the fundamental reasons for the problem, as identified in
the documentary: Pandemic/COVID-19, community quarantine implementation, poverty, and
suffering experienced by teachers, students, and parents which are all factors to consider. The
pain of parents, children, and teachers resulting from the epidemic is depicted in this video,
demonstrating that teachers are the true frontliners in education. It can deliver information while
also influencing the individuals who view it in a positive and negative way. When a person in
crisis has to travel to the hilly area to educate, the positive impact can inspire and clear their
mind. This is not because it is their profession, but because they want to assist other people, the
positive influence can be life changing. The negative consequence of this documentary is that it
will instill an attitude in the students that they will not be able to complete their tasks because
they will lack the necessary information. The students will feel competent due to the fact that
they lack experience in actual projects and lack of resources such as laptop and the likes. In this
video, it can be observe that challenges of instructors, students, and parents were the effect of
the new manner of learning that is being implemented today. In this video, viewers can learn that
our government and country must find a means to allow kids to return to conventional or face-to-
face classrooms.
The documentation emphasized the difficulties encountered by the teacher in traveling to the
student's home to teach, the situation faced by students who do not understand anything in their
modules, the reason for their failure to provide an answer, as well as the difficulties encountered
by native parents with limited financial resources in purchasing them. The teacher's daily
attendance and hard effort only to teach their pupil is not a replacement for further compensation
- they only do it out of a desire to help those in needs.
