To run a single survey
1 Switch on StoreIT Data Pad—press O| . Start up screen shows
briefly with unit serial number, followed by
First survey... press NEW
2 Check/change survey settings

Scroll SETTINGS to Start Depth Start Depth 0 m
Use + _ to set start depth
Scroll SETTINGS to Depth Interval Depth Interval M m For backlighting press
Use + _ to set depth interval
Scroll SETTINGS to Survey Direction Survey Direction Now:In
Use + _ to set In or Out
Scroll SETTINGS to Time Interval Time Interval T Secs
Use + _ to set time interval
Scroll SETTINGS to Time Set Time hh:mm:ss
Use + _ OK to set time
Scroll SETTINGS to Date Set Date dd:mm:yy

Use + _ OK to set date

3 When settings complete
Press and hold DATA down First survey... press NEW

4 Start SensIT
Bring SensIT close to StoreIT
Press and hold NEW down Depth (start) m Press OK

5 Load SensIT into running gear

Run SensIT to start depth
Press and hold OK down Measuring, wait...y secs
Depth (2nd) m Press OK
Move SensIT to next depth
Press and hold OK down Measuring, wait...y secs
Depth (3rd) m Press OK
Repeat for as many stations as needed

6 End survey Depth (last+1) m Press OK

Scroll SETTINGS to find… End Survey? Press OK

7 Recover SensIT and download data to StoreIT

Download StoreIT to a PC to calculate and display surveys

You may run several surveys in one or more sessions before downloading StoreIT data to a
PC. To download, connect TransIT to your PC. Open MeasureIT software on your PC.
Press O| to switch ON your StoreIT data pad

Choose DOWNLOAD from first menu of MeasureIT and follow on screen instructions.
See User Guide for further MeasureIT information.
Press O| to switch OFF First Survey... Press NEW

1 If SensIT is too far from StoreIT and cannot communicate Tool Not Responding
2 To switch StoreIT to single-shot mode
