JAB RAFFY JARD YO

They first appear in the Book of Exodus, according to which Moses, acting under the orders of God, freed
the Israelites from physical slavery in Egypt. According to Church teaching, God offered a covenant—
which included the Ten Commandments—to also free them from the "spiritual slavery" of sin. A world
full of chaos have changed into a new beginning.

The first commandment - I am the lord am your God you shall not have other Gods Besides me. The
world has other claimed gods such as Zeus and etc also the celebrities we worship and idolize should be
kept in the right place. We should always remember to only worship and pray to our God who created
everything in this world.

The 2nd commandment- You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. This doesn’t only
mean that we can’t use our Lord’s name in expressions or to blaspheme or curse the name of God but
also “You shall not swear by my name falsely, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.
When you make a declaration, swearing by God’s name, it must not be a false promise or one you do
not intend to keep.

The 3rd commandment- Remember to keep holy the LORD'S Day. Sunday is time of family and our
closest family is the Lord our God. The Resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of our Christian religion,
and it is truly unprecedented in human history. Every Sunday, parents should remind their children that
we are celebrating Jesus' Resurrection.

Talking about family the next commandment which is the 4th - Honor your father and your mother. It is
just as it says and we need to respect and always tell the truth to our parents as they are the people
who sacrificed everything for us to give us the life that we wanted.

The fifth commandment- You shall not kill. The commandment's intent is to liberate us from the harmful
elements of human thinking that can lead to violence and murder. When followed, this law aids us in
breaking free from immoral and destructive conduct, allowing us to conform to our higher nature as
God's children, expressing mercy, wisdom, and deep compassion. This commandment, in our opinion,
helps to describe what it means to be good rather than bad.

The Sixth Commandment: Thou shalt not commit adultery. All people—married, single, religious, and
ordained—need to acquire the virtue of chastity. We should fear and love God, so that we lead a chaste
and decent life in word and deed, and that husband and wife each love and honor the other.

The Seventh Commandment: Thou shalt not steal. It primarily reveals to us that God wants us to act
justly and with charity in our relationships with one another. We should not take our neighbor’s money
or goods, nor get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his goods and means
of making a living.

The Eighth Commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. It reveals to us how
God desires us to act in our relationships with one another. We should not lie about, betray or slander
our neighbor, but excuse him, speak well of him, and put the best construction on everything.

The Ninth Commandment: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house. It prohibits making false
statements against our neighbor and is designed to prevent slander and perversion of justice. We should
not craftily seek to gain our neighbor’s inheritance or home, nor get it by a show of right, but help and
serve him in keeping it.

The Tenth Commandment: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife. It addresses what happens in our
hearts and minds, makes clear that the Lord forbids those sins that no one sees — our covetous
thoughts and desires leading us to long wrongfully for what rightfully belongs to others We should not
tempt, force or coax away from our neighbor his wife or his workers, but urge them to stay and do their
duty.
