J-Gate: J-Gate is the world’s largest e-Journal portal. Content from over 48,000+ e-
journals world over in English is harvested and aggregated. The resultant database is
offered to academic and research institutions as customized products/services for
regular searching and monitoring (alerts) of what is published in research, industry
and trade journals. The Company has created a host of customized solutions around
this portal for major Indian library consortia.
India Business Insight (IBI) - IBI is the only product of its kind to offer rich and rare
insights into developments in the Indian business and industry from both local and
global perspectives. A digest of vital news and analysis on Indian business and
industry from leading business magazines and newspapers.
Since its inception, Informatics has been providing marketing and distribution support to
leading global information product companies, and building leadership position for them in
the Indian e-content market for academic and research information.

CrossRef is an official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Registration Agency of the International
DOI Foundation. Informatics has the collaboration with CrossRef for providing the DOI
service.
• The annual membership fee for CrossRef is $275. This annual membership fee is
waived off by virtue of Informatics Publishing Limited’s association with CrossRef.
• Publishers, Institutes, and Societies can acquire DOI on a cost per article basis without
paying any annual fee.
• This usage based pricing module includes generation of metadata XML file for each
article as per CrossRef XML Schema and deposition of metadata as per CrossRef
guideline for registering the DOI.
• Informatics will acquire unique prefix for journals and articles for the publishers
associated with us.

Methodology:
Current Issue:
o Publisher has to send the metadata of each article in the Spreadsheet Format
(Excel file) to Informatics.
o Informatics will generate the XML file and deposit the same into CrossRef
database.
o Informatics will send you the DOI numbers for each article. The DOI number
can be used for publishing on PDF file, online and print versions.
Archive Issues:
o Publisher to send the published PDF file for assigning the DOI numbers to
Informatics.
o Informatics will generate the XML file and deposit the same into CrossRef
database.
o Informatics will send you the DOI numbers for each article.
