A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. The

word hotel is derived from, the French hotel coming from hotel meaning host,
which was referred to as a French version of a townhouse or any other building
seeing frequent visitors, rather than a place offering accommodation. Facilities
provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites
with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen
