CAMPAIGN TITLE

SCENE 14
As the party is riding to the „Leaky Barrel“ inn, a female Blackjacket, also on horseback, makes a hand motion
as if throwing something at them and then orders them to halt. Seelah and Ezren, however, both keep moving
towards the Blackjacket as if they hadn't heard her, turn around and place their horses next to the Blackjacket's,
now facing Kyra and Valeros. The Blackjacket rides closer towards Kyra and Valeros, touches Valeros' right arm
and says relatively quietly, yet audible for them: „Come with me, now! Your two friends are under my
command.“ To prove it, she orders without even looking at them or raising her voice: „Raise your right hand!“
and „Lower it again!“, while Seelah and Ezren do exactly as told, with a blank look in their eyes and
expressionless faces. „Now! No questions! Or your friends here will attack you and other civilians. Someone
will be hurt, and there will be a mighty ruckus in the streets.“ She grins and adds: „Caused by you.“

Valeros: Fortitude Save vs. Green Hag's BETRAYING TOUCH

                                                                      1d20 + 7 = 23 vs. DC: 18

                                                                              → SUCCESS

The female Blackjacket, most likely not really a Blackjacket, removes her hand from Valeros' arm while looking
at it, apparently briefly annoyed by something, then turns around and rides into an alley which leads away from
the main street, Ezren and Seelah wordlessly following her. Valeros and Kyra, anxiously looking at each other,
silently decide that they shouldn't resist right now, let alone flee and leave their friends behind, and thus, follow
their capturer.
At a 4-storey building, just before the end of the cul-de-sac deep inside the ever darker-growing alley, the female
Blackjacket descends from her horse, Seelah and Ezren continously following her actions, unlocks the house's
door and says „Come on!“, gleefully intonating a mother calling home her cheeky children. Seelah, still with
blank eyes, draws sword and shield and positions herself menacingly behind Valeros and Kyra. The group
moves on into the house and Seelah kicks the door shut behind her, both her and Ezren steadily keeping an eye
on Valeros and Kyra.
They find themselves in a well-furnished, decently sized living room:

Green Hag's Kidnap Apartment

The woman spits on the floor, now having given up her formerly perfect gait, shuffles mumblingly in front of
the lit fireplace and points at the red sofa in front of her: „Sit!“ Valeros and Kyra sit down next to each other,
with Ezren positioned to the woman's right and Seelah standing guard, still holding sword and board, slightly
behind and to the left of Kyra and Valeros.
CAMPAIGN TITLE

SCENE 14
All of a sudden, the woman rips off the uniform of the Blackjackets, and - under an agonizing, longwinded and
hardly subdued groan and despicable sounds of crunching bone and squashed flesh - the woman's body slowly
and bizarrely begins to shift, morph and transform into that of an extremely ugly, green-skinned abomination,
distantly resembling a wizened old woman with long, unkempt and dirty grey hair. The creature wears nothing
but what looks to be a large linen sack turned into makeshift clothing. So hunch-backed is her stature that she
occasionally steadies herself on the floor in front of her with one inhumanly long, meager yet muscular and
sinewy arm, sprinkled with several thick warts. What previously were beautiful feminine hands are now sharp-
nailed claws. Absurdly, the creature still wears the black boots of the Blackjacket uniform.
As she lets out an utterly joyless and disgustingly mucous-sounding laugh at Kyra's and Valeros's shocked
expressions, she reveals the remainder of her razor-sharp teeth as well as a strangely long and thin, blood-red
tongue. She looks at Seelah and asks in a commandeering tone:

„You are Seelah, Paladin of… Iomedae, trade emissary of Andoran?“

As she says the deity's name, she again spits on the floor.

Seelah answers, devoid of any emotion: „Yes.“

Beast: „These are your companions Ezren, Valeros and Kyra?“

Seelah: „Yes.“

The beast chuckles once more…

… and then points at Valeros and Kyra: „Kill!“

The way it technically works is that the Green Hag has to make a REQUEST check (1 AP) of each charmed
person everytime and that the person could object if the REQUEST is not a critical success.
For the purposes of this dramatic encounter, however, I will say Seelah will accept all REQUESTs since
charming her critically succeeded – until she's at 15 HP (20% of her max HP). And Ezren will only accept
on a REQUEST success or higher because I think the combination of being charmed and a succesful
REQUEST should be enough for him to be enthralled by the hag – until he's at 14HP (10% of his max HP,
as the charm on him was only a normal success).
Also, the REQUESTs won't cost the hag any actions in combat.
