ABSTRACT
Solar panel has been used increasingly in recent years to convert solar energy
to electrical energy. The solar panel can be used either as a stand-alone system or as a
large solar system that is connected to the electricity grids. The earth receives 84
Terawatts of power and our world consumes about 12 Terawatts of power per day.
We are trying to consume more energy from the sun using solar panel. In order to
maximize the conversion from solar to electrical energy, the solar panels have to be
positioned perpendicular to the sun. Thus, the tracking of the sun’s location and
positioning of the solar panel are important. The goal of this project is to design an
automatic tracking system, which can locate position of the sun. The tracking system
will move the solar panel so that it is positioned perpendicular to the sun for
maximum energy conversion at all time. Photoresistors will be used as sensors in this
system. The system will consist of light sensing system, microcontroller, gear motor
system, and a solar panel. Our system will output up to 40% more energy than solar
panels without tracking systems.

A Solder Paste Inspection machine

Numerous industry studies have pointed out that up to 70% of SMD soldering issues
are traced back to improper or substandard solder paste printing. Hence, the next step
is to check if the solder paste is printed properly onto the board. While employing
good solder paste printing methods are often enough for PCBs in low volumes, SPI
should be considered when churning out higher volumes of PCB to avoid high
rework costs.

The SPI machine utilizes cameras capable of capturing 3D images, to evaluate the
quality of the solder paste through factors such as solder volume, alignment, and
height. The machine then rapidly identifies unsuitable solder volumes or imperfect
alignment, allowing for manufacturers to quickly come down on bad solder paste
printings and rectify the problem. When used together with Automated Optical
Inspection (more on this later.), this enables manufacturers to effectively monitor and
control the solder printing process, and therefore cut down on costs from rework and
enable more efficient production of high-quality PCBs
CHAPTER: -4

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

The manufacturing process with solar lighting (the method that Green shine uses)
starts with silicon. A vast majority of photovoltaic materials are manufactured from
silicon because it's an incredibly abundant resource, making up about 25% of the
Earth's crust by weight. A silicon "seed" is dipped into a large vat of melted silicon
and slowly rotated to draw out the purest silicon substance, which eventually hardens
into an ingot. From this long cylinder of hardened, pure silicon, extremely thin slices
are cut from the ingot and then prepped to have solar cells installed on them. This
particular process is extremely slow and somewhat wasteful of silicon since the ingot
is often trimmed down--but it produces the most efficient panels on the market. This
is what's called the Czochralski method.

CONTROL METHOD

.
Light Control Setting

Light-controlled on/off means that it is only controlled by sun light, and it will
automatically sense the intensity of light to control the light on and off. After
installation, there is no need to adjust the light on and off time according to the
season. This kind of light-controlled solar street lamp has a wide application range,
and its cost is slightly higher than other control methods.

Time Setting

Time-controlled on/off is a common control method for solar street lights, which is to
set the lighting time through the controller in advance. The street light will be
automatically turned on at night, and automatically turned off or dimmed after the
specified time. This control method is relatively reasonable, which can not only
control the cost of solar street lights, but also extend the service life of solar street
lights.

Motion sensor control setting

Solar street light with motion sensor means the lamp integrated a body motion sensor.
When the human body movement is detected, the solar street light will automatically
adjust to full power output. When no one is moving, the solar street light will be
adjusted to dim or turn off. This can avoid unnecessary waste of power, save battery
energy, and extend the lighting time.

Setting by Remote controller

The solar street lights that can be controlled by the remote control, they are generally
used in household solar street lights. In your house, people hope that the solar street
lights can be controlled by switches like the city circuit lights. Therefore, the solar
street light manufacturers have developed a special energy for household solar street
lights. A household solar street light that controls the lights on and off at any time
with a controller.
Combination setting of light control + time control + motion
sensor control

There are three basic methods for different combinations, such as light control
lighting + time control dimming, light control lighting + time control dimming and
other combinations. This can save battery power and reduce the configuration cost.
This is currently the most used control method

An example of solar panels made from monocrystalline silicon cells.

Solar cells made from silicon are the most popular choice for today’s solar
panels. We can separate Crystalline silicon (c-Si) into different categories
based on the crystal size of the resulting silicon wafer used in a solar cell.
The two most popular categories of c-Si are as follows:

 Polycrystalline Silicon – Also known as ‘multicrystalline silicon’, this

type of solar photovoltaic cell is the most common. Due to its
popularity and a more efficient manufacturing process (involving
molten silicon), solar panels using cells of this type are often the
cheapest to buy.
 Monocrystalline Silicon – This is a highly efficient type of solar cell
used in premium solar panels. They generally offer more power
output than rival products but are far more expensive. Solar panels
using monocrystalline silicon cells feature a distinctive pattern of
small white diamonds. This is due to how the wafers are cut
 Glass – Widely used in the design of solar panels, glass can be found
above conventional silicon solar cells. With thin-film technologies,
the cells are usually sandwiched between two panes of glass. This is
one of the main drawbacks of thin-film technologies in that the extra
layer of glass can significantly increase the overall weight of the
panel.
 Copper – You can find copper in various components of a solar
panel. It can be used in everything from wires (including earthing
cables) through to inverters that convert DC current to AC.
 Plastic – Plastic is a common feature of a solar panel. It can be used
to house junction boxes that are often found on the underside of a
solar panel. Junction boxes provide an easy way of connecting
multiple panels together to form a single system.

LIFT

Lifts are useful for quickly moving heavy items and even people from point A to
point B. They are common in construction sites and material handling facilities
such as warehouses, factories, and storage depots. Lift systems make it much
easier to hoist and haul heavy cargo and also help create a safe workplace
environment for the staff involved, especially those handling hazardous or delicate
materials.

Industrial lifts have been around for decades. Thanks to advancements in

hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical technologies, lifts have evolved
over the years into various distinct designs and models. In this guide, we’ll
discuss four main types of lifts, highlighting the distinguishing features and ideal
applications for each type.

Visit our products page if you’d like to learn more about specialized lift
equipment and tools.
CHAPTER: -7
(1) A worker should ensure that the place of work is fit for working. In other words,
he should see that there is proper arrangement for light, water, air ventilation,
drinking water, latrines, urinals and arrangement to fight fire, if it breaks out
suddenly.

(2) A worker should be very careful while operating machines. A little carelessness or
negligence in handling machines can cause a big accident.

(3) In certain factories the material used is highly inflammable. It catches fire quickly.
So smoking is strictly prohibited there. In such places the workers should not smoke.
(4) In case of fire, the workers should immediately arrange to inform the fire brigade
and use the fire extinguishers if they are available nearby or fight fire by using water
etc. if possible.

(5) All big and risky machines should be kept in fences. And worker should avoid
going near such machines if they have no business there.

(6) Sub-guards should be provided for moving parts of the machinery.

(7) Wherever necessary, gloves for hands, goggles for eyes, apron and special
clothing should be provided.

(8) Tools should be handled and kept safety.

(9) Precautions, warnings and like ‘Danger 440 volts’ should be displayed
prominently wherever necessary.

(10) To allow a large number of workers to work in a small place is very dangerous.
Suppose a fire breaks up in such a place the workers should find it difficult to run
away quickly. It is also not good from the point of view of health.

(11) Before going in the mines, the mine workers should ensure that proper safety
measures have been taken to face any accident, if it takes place in the mine.
(12) The workers should not work continuously for more than the prescribed working
hours. They should take rest and then go for the next shift. Earning a little by losing
one’s health can by no means be described as a wise act.

(13) In the interest of their own safety, worker should attend seminars, film shows or
talks organized to teach them the safety rules. And they should follow them strictly.
CHAPTER: -8
Maintenance of LED street lights

It has entrusted the repairs and maintenance of the LED street lights to the village
secretariats to ensure that the non-glowing ones are restored in 48 hours of the receipt
of complaint, according to an official release.

About 2.60 lakh village volunteers are being involved in the exercise with the
cooperation of the A.P. State Energy Efficiency Development Corporation
(APSEEDCO).

The PR&RDD has requested the Energy Department to spare the energy assistants to
attend to the complaints and instructed the village secretariats to engage private
technicians in case of non- availability of energy assistants for rectifying the defunct
lights with the stipulated time.

Meanwhile, in a review meeting, Panchayat Raj Minister P. Ramachandra Reddy said

successful maintenance of the LED street lights was one of the government’s top
priorities
Maintenance Activities

Maintenance activities consist of repair of electrical wiring and light fixtures,

replacement of burned-out lamps, repair and replacement of damaged equipment
caused by auto accidents and vandalism, and marking the location of underground
electrical conduits for the Underground Service Alert (USA) program.
