Test Instructions & Requirements

Basic Requirements:

1) Candidate should have a Webcam connected to the System.

2) OS Requirements

Windows: 10, 8, (Windows 10S is not a compatible operating system). Includes x86
32 and 64bit processors and ARM 64bit processors using x86 emulation.
Mac: macOS 10.12 to 10.15
Not supported on Linux

3) Candidate device Memory specs:

Windows: 2 GB RAM
Mac: 2 GB RAM

4) Candidate device Hard Disk Space specs:

Windows: 200 MB of free hard disk space

Mac: 200 MB of free hard disk space

5) Browser Requirements:
This Assessment is supported by the below listed Browsers/Versions only.
Google Chrome (version 60.0 and above).
Mozilla Firefox (version 60.0 and above).
Ensure you are in a quiet area with good lighting.
An internet connection with good speed will ensure a smooth process, for this
exercise please ensure that you have at least 2mbps.

Test Guidelines

1) The candidates should attempt the test on a desktop/laptop only, equipped with a working
Webcam (external or built-in) and should have a smooth internet connectivity throughout
the test session.
2) The test system is built with various artificial intelligence mechanisms to track
malpractice and any extended help. Any candidate found practicing any unfair means
would be disqualified from the recruitment process without notice.
3) Other than the intended candidate, if image of any other person is captured during the test
process, the candidate can be disqualified. This disqualification may happen at
any stage of the process.

4) Do not try to click ‘Print Screen’ or copy the test content. The system will disqualify the
candidate instantly. Use of mobile phones/ cameras and any other electronic device during
the test process is strictly prohibited.
5) There should not be any hindrance to the Webcam’s lenses. It should not be covered with
any object and the candidate should place himself/ herself right in front of it.
6) While taking up the online test, candidates are advised not to move out of the test screen,
e.g., do not attempt to open another tab or application. The Test will be locked
permanently if a candidate is found switching through windows while taking the test.
7) In case the test stops/halts due to an Internet or electricity failure, you will be able to
resume your assessment from the same point you got logged out, without losing any time.
Wait for 5 minutes, login again using the same credentials.
8) After you login into the test, you must finish the test in one go. Please ensure that you
have smooth electrical and internet connectivity. If test gets logged out in between, please
make sure you are resuming the test within 10 mins beyond which the test will be
automatically expired.
9) Ensure to click provide access to both web-cam and Location while initiating the
assessment.

10) While filling the registration form, please ensure that you are putting your correct email
address there as once you get shortlisted, you will receive the interview invite on the same
address. By putting the incorrect email address, you might lose the fair opportunity of
being interviewed

Following are the steps for taking the test:

1) For taking the AMCAT exam, click on the URL provided in the email and follow the
instructions.
2) Downloads the exe files from the links below and install the software on your system.

3) At several instances during the test, you will be prompted to allow the access of your
webcam. Please click on ‘allow’.
4) Click on Start Test after accepting the ‘Data Protection notice’ and filling the details in
the registration. A 15-digit number will appear, this is your AMCAT ID. You may save
it for your future reference.
5) To answer a question, click on Confirm and then Next to submit your answer.

Please initiate the test in the given time validity only.
