Detailed proposal Plan

Five escalators will be installed in KB block by University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Sungai Long
Campus in order to aforementioned issue. With great sincerity, Kone escalator is here to
prepare a proposal on the installation of escalators for UTAR addressing the overcrowding issue.
With the help of research conducted by our skilled workforce, within six months the business
anticipated finishing the project. The next section is going to outline the project that had been
planned and organized well based on your requirements.

Approval and Planning Stage

The Project is represented by expert drawings created by our company’s engineering staff.
When our company’s proposed project is approved , we will proceed with obtaining approval
from the appropriate government agencies for the reconstruction work as well as the
confirmation from UTAR on the scope of the project. The illustration will be delivered to both
departments will be examined and evaluated. The government must consent before the
upcoming project and ready to take all necessary precautions. It will take roughly a month to
finish the job for both approvals.

Setting up the working environment(1st Day)

The work site is positioned for future smooth progress with the approvals of both government
and university department. The project will be completed on the west side of the KB block. To
prevent students or UTAR’s staff from approaching the working area while also ensuring their
safety, the entire west part of the university property will be fenced in. For the machine
required for construction to enter the work area, a passage has been built.

Electrical Requirement(1st Day)

The outdated electrical network that connected the lights in the stairwell area has been
disconnected and removed. The removal procedure is being done for the protection of our
worker team and to prevent distortion of other electrical systems in the KB block, which will
further impair student ability to learn while the renovation is being completed.

Dismantle to Unnecessary walls(1 st Day)

The expanded portion of the building with the staircase will eventually be subject to demolition
work. Even though KB block only has escalators that go up to the fifth floor, the entire stairway
on the east side of the building will be taken out so that the building will be taken out so that
the
escalators can be installed level by level all the way to the top of the structure. The deadline for
finishing this process is one day, on Sunday. Since there won't be as many pupils around the sch
ool grounds, progress will be easier. However, while demolition is happening, the university will
also need to leave the entire structure.
After the demolition process, the removed bricks and mesh will be immediately removed in
order to make more space for the construction and to protect our team.

BUILD STRONGER WALLS

The working site already has all the supplies needed to create walls. The walls' construction will
be finished in around 10 days. Escalators need a broad range of space to fit in, so the staircase
area was redesigned to accommodate them. After being properly piled, the bricks are allowed to
dry for five days before further work is done.

ELECTRICAL WIRING WORKS

Five escalators and the lights along the escalators each have their own wiring system installed.
For the KB block, the wiring system is initially disconnected from the main power source until all
the work is finished.

INSTALLAION OF ESCALATOR

A crane is used to install the escalators from the top of the structure. The escalator from the
first floor to the second floor is installed after the one at the ground floor, which goes from floor
to floor. Up until the final escalator, which connects the fourth and fifth floors, the progression is
repeated.

ASSESSMENT OF THE ESCALATOR AND A TEST RUN

Three days are spent observing the escalator structure. We will do several escalator tests after
making sure the building's structure can support the weight of the escalators without collapsing.
Despite the professionalism of our crew, our top-notch engineering team will give the test-
checking process their entire attention.

RECONSTRUCT THE STEEL STAIRCASE ABOVE LEVEL 5

The next thing we'll do is rebuild the stairway from level 5 to the top of the building that we
dismantled. However, this time we will pay attention to the staircase's angle; a less steep
staircase will be made because there is more room than before for a longer staircase. The stairs
will be monitored for around 7 days once the construction is complete, just as it was before.
RENOVATION AND CLEANING WORKRENOVATION AND CLEANING WORK

To go on to the next level, which is remodelling, the workspace is cleansed. The outer layer of
the structure will have glasses placed to maintain the building's vintage appearance. The walls
are painted white as normal, and new mosaic tiles have been laid on the floor.
