Work from home is not the same with working in the office or in the school. I can say
that working from home is a new experience. The very nature of this job requires teachers to be
more interactive and engaging. Everyone is worrying how this current situation will impact
students. Handling the current situation has required a lot of shift in the daily routines and
working lives of many. I made so many preparations in working from home. One of those is
making sure that during office hours I am available whenever my colleagues would have some
concerns or whenever there are queries through phone calls, text or personal message that need
my attention. Second, I made sure that I manage my working time by sticking to my normal
work routine. I always remind myself that working from home is the best way that I can
contribute to controlling the current situation. Though students, teachers, and parents experience
problems in this current situation, but as long as we have positive attitudes and the will to do the
work well and to solve the problems, we could always find ways to overcome the obstacles and
even gain benefits during the difficult time.
